President Trump on Sunday night directed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to expand deportation efforts in cities run by Democrats following protests in Los Angeles over his immigration policies.

Seems as if that would be illegal to do.
Also seems as if I’ve read that those cities have been prepared for that to happen since Trump was inaugurated, so there’s that.
This all just really ticks me off. The legislatures have been in session. They could have passed laws to tighten up the system in general to enable Republicans to be nazis like this legally. I don’t think it’s right, and would still be against it, but the US is supposed to be a nation of laws, and law and order. This admin is absolutely outlaw, and the legislature just lets it happen.

Hi Ali. I agree. I have Odie purring on my desk and I have just taken some pain medications. If I feel up to it later I will wash the less than 20 dishes on the counter including the silverware. Odie has switched to snoring.
I think that we can be grateful that the people pushing ice and hate are vengeful and cruel but not smart. They use force instead of thought. Simply put they are not smart. So we have people in all the blue states that can and will do things to stop them or interfere with them legally. I am stunned at the SCOTUS ruling on trans children treatments. Did you see that one justice said the evils of the treatment sited by Tennessee was the same as Virginia argued in court in the Lovings case about interracial marriage? I guess that means the next thing they will come for is same sex marriage. I worry how long this regression of progress, this roll back of civil rights earned over 80 years. Hugs
