Hi Judy. Yes I thought the same thing when I saw clips of the parade. I guess the reporting is that tRump wanted uniforms and equipment for every military intervention / war the US was in. I thought these guys on the tank were 1960s Vietnam vets and they were drafted late 1960s guys … many of whom would be families with weed. Hugs What do you think of the length of these political cartoons / memes /and article posts? I have heard from a couple of people that they think they are too long. Hugs

Hi Jill. I am glad you like them and happy to share. I am sort of going back to the cartoon posts I used to do. In the morning I gather the political cartoons and memes along with news off Bluesky. Then once I get a large enough amount I post them. It is about the only way to stay sane. Hope you are well and settled in to the new home. Hugs

Thanks so much, Scottie! You’ll recognize a few from my ‘toon post this morning! We need to find the humour in the situation sometimes in order to maintain our sanity, or what’s left of it! As re the new house … we still have boxes stacked on top of boxes that we need to get unpacked, and there are many things I don’t like about the house. BUT … one thing I do LOVE about it is that we’re in a wooded area and on a daily basis we see deer, rabbits, squirrels, and many birds. They bring a smile to this tired old face.
