  1. And we all need to keep on all their backs about how many people will lose work, how many jobs will be gone, how many hospitals and clinics will close, and that they-the Senators-passed this bill, and it will be ingrained in voters’s memories. It’s on their backs, and we need to remind them of that daily until they get it.

(PS: Most of the Republicans are pushing back because the cuts aren’t deep enough; only a few are thinking about the future and their constituents. If that helps motivate people to stay on the Senate’s collective back.)

    1. Hi Ali. I agree somewhat. Sadly most of the time republicans care far more about keeping their seat than helping their constituents. Especially in deep red districts. I have been following stories that say some of the Freedom Caucus in the house are demanding deeper cuts but the republicans in the other districts and the senators have already said that they will lose the house and possibly the senate if the cuts to Medicaid happen before the midterms. 1. Well, that’s the thing about keeping their seats; their voters have to vote them in. If we emphasize, early and often that all voters will know who passed this bill, their voters won’t vote them in. That has to be part of our work-those who passed these travesties will not be able to hide from their handiwork-all will know.

        1. Hi Ali. That is the real question, how to get the information out to the voters. I just read on a different post that only a third of republican voters know what is being talked about and the rest only believe what misinformation is presented on right wing media. This is so important and also confusing to me. I have lived driven to know more and learning. That people could be deliberately ignorant confuses me. Yet James the boy that lived with us and calls me dad sometimes has no interest in the news or in voting. He is 31 this year. I can’t help think that if I had been with him younger while he grew up I would have been able to get him to care. But so how to get people to care. In NY it was shown talking about how it will make your life better without lying your ass off. Hugs
