Leaking

Ron too up the floor to set up the new spot for the toilet and the shower when he spotted a bunch of water under the floor. He can’t find the leak so it taking up the entire two bathroom floors. Then I will fill and spin out the washer. If it is not there…. Well I don’t know what we will do. Hugs

Best Wishes and Hugs,
Scottie

    1. Hi Bruce. You win the prize. There were horrible hard rains but when Ron looked at our water meter it was not registering any flow.

OK this will take a bit to type out and I hope I don’t screw it up as I am tired. About 15 years ago we paid for a second hand central air conditioning unit after the one in our home died. 13 months after we spent 4 grand for it, it then quit. The company told us sorry, but it was one month over warranty but … for 6 to 8 grand they could replace it.

So Ron told them to fuck off. We got window units and now Ron is putting in split systems units.

But back to why our underneath of our home is flooded. You are correct the old system that where it connected to the house the seals had split and the open fan end was funneling water right into the tubes that clearly had burst over time. So teer running down the outer wall of our home was being funneled right under the home, and the same with the big open fan.

However knowing the problem is not fixing the problem. Ron went out this morning to fix the problem. He got the A/C unit away from the house … and it started to pour all day. So out in the pouring rain he managed to block up and tried to seal the hole. We will wait for another day to fix the issue. But he feels deflated. Hugs
