Not sure where you found the picture of the group of soldiers in Viet Nam, BUT the tall guy center right with the cross is my brother in law John Hartline. I have a copy of the picture here that George brought home after his dad died.

Hi, suze! If you go to the page linked, “GI Resistance in the Vietnam War,” you can see a bigger photo, and more info. I skimmed it again, looking for “Hartline” and didn’t see it, but I could have missed it. Enjoy, if that’s appropriate!

I sent a link to my BIL and he said “hey, that’s me!”…..lol Most he said gave false ID to the photographer as they could all be discharged in a not so nice way…I asked if HE gave false id and he just sent back a laughing emoji.
