  1. All very good. A few were specifically to do with local US politics so I didn’t understood the background, but nevertheless the intent of the message was very clear. A great selection indeed.

BTW, every cartoon displayed correctly, as have your recent cartoon posts have, which I guess means that you’ve sorted out the gremlins.

    1. Hi Barry. I meant to get back to you on that. I stopped using the Cagle website for cartoons. They were bigger and easier to post but if people couldn’t see them then it is not worth the effort. I want people to be able to see them, that is why I do it. I really thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Also for the last 7 days I have worked to install Ubuntu and get it to work for my needs. Sadly I couldn’t get it to do what I need it to do, I don’t have the programming skills needed. Plus all my programs I use and need to work smoothly are windows based with no Linux equivalent. Best wishes.

  2. Another stellar collection Scottie, showing the world just what is going on the in USA.
    Keep up the good work
    👏

Footnote: Trump being stiffed by…..sorry reaching a trade agreement with President of China Xi Jinping was pushed aside in the UK by the news that Andrew Windsor is no longer a prince. There’s a symmetry there.

    1. Hi Roger. Sorry for being gone so long. I have so much to share with every about the last 6 to 8 weeks. But I ran into a computer problem and in trying to solve it I created a lot more problems. So after a week of trying to install and make work a version of Linux I gave up and went back to my not able to updatable windows. Hugs

      1. Hi Scottie.
Oh these things do plague us. Sheila and I have a theory that computer systems these days are so fixed on business and presentation that they don’t really like creative work that their AIs don’t contribute to.
Glad you manged to find a Work Around.

        Take care you guys

        Roger & Sheila. 👍🌻🌺

        1. Hi Roger. I used a different utility program I had to update windows 10 and that allowed me to rejoin the extended update program. So I am sort of back to where I started but missing a week where I taught myself Linux and tried it out. If I had just one computer or did not need specific programs to make what I need to do work, I would stay with Linux. Hugs

          1. Hi Scottie. Glad to read that you made some progress.
It’s concerning that the computer networks have gradually over the years tied us up into using what they want us to us.

Take care and keep on keeping on.

            1. Hi Roger, so true. The new Windows 11 that they are trying to force everyone to go to even if they have to buy new computers has a function that requires you to log into your online Microsoft account so they can record your start / stop / total time online information. Plus if you don’t use software to hide your online activity they suck it up for their database on everyone for marketing and selling to marketers. Hugs

              1. And the number of sites that if you do not want ‘Cookies’ require that you pay to subscribe.
Amazon have now upped the gouging on their Prime. Prime (after you have paid) used to give you access to films….now to avoid adverts being included you have to pay extra for ‘add free’.
You can purchase a download of a music album, but unless you pay for Amazon’s music service you are going have much difficulty in playing the album tracks in the order in which they came.
Which is why I only use the Prime subscription service selectively and then bug out when I am done.
If I can’t avoid the damn thing at least I can minimise its effects on my pocket!

                Keep on keeping on guys.

                1. Hi Roger. I agree with you. I used to use an add blocker to watch YouTube with no adverts. Then one day I couldn’t access YouTube at all. It was not until I turned off the advert blocker that I could use it again. So since both Ron and I use YouTube constantly we had to pay for the ad free premium at nearly $20 a month. In the US profit is king and the poor have no right to any enjoyment in life. Quality life with fun is only for the wealthy if how the upper income in the US sees the world. If you are not wealthy you are not fully human and deserve nothing. Profit and greed has killed the US and it is tryng to get its claws into Europe and other countries as well. Hugs

                  1. Sadly this is true Scottie.
The constant drive for profit and rewarding wealth continues at a pace, while many folk in their pursuit of fame and riches destroy themselves, others associated with them and those who get in the way. Often not realising they are doing this.

Take care and keep on keeping on.

                    Roger & Sheila . 🙏❤️
