The link and blurb did not come through and Ali provided the link.   Thanks to her we have the story.  Hugs

    1. Hi Ali. Thank you. I don’t understand this. I double checked the email and it had the link. I forwarded it from my Gmail account. So it did not come from my phone. I must be WordPress taking the links out along with the blurb that came with the email. Hugs

        1. You are correct Ali. I can’t figure which links will post and which ones won’t. The only way to do is to go check the page before closing the email or the news article but I don’t have WordPress or my site on my phone or tablet. Hugs

            1. Hi Ali. As always you are generous and kind, but I do worry. See I really would like to have confidence that when I post an email or news link it will show up properly on the site as it does in my sending email. The fact that right now I don’t know that inhibits if I post something that way or not? Not your fault, but how can I keep posting that way if I know half of them will depend on you for the viewers to see? You are incredibly kind to help make sure they do but … it really is on me and WordPress to make sure before you have to pick up from and fix my mistakes. Again I love that you are able to do that … but it is not fair that you should have to. Good night. Hugs

              1. I understand that, and I can stop, if you like. 🙂 I can only edit my own posts; I don’t see the rest of them except here on the page after publishing, or I’d just slip a hyperlink in, and no one would know the difference..
Anyway, though, I only add the link when I see that the link didn’t publish, as soon as I see it, but I don’t look for posts that don’t have links, or anything. There really are not so many; some weeks none at all. I think it’s been over a month since the links didn’t publish.
So, even though you hate it, the rest of us know it’s not your fault.

                1. Hi Ali. No I did mean that you should change anything you do. If you like doing it and it doesn’t bother you I am happy you notice it. I just feel like I am imposing on you. It seems I ask a lot of you sometimes. As for what you see and can change, I can change your status to a higher level if you wish? I don’t mind. I trust you with the administrator privileges like I have. Hugs

                    1. Hi Ali. OK just remember I value what you do for the blog and me personally so should you ever want more “ability or authority” over stuff you just need to tell me. I am not sure how many levels of authority there are but I can look it up if you want.

As for it still being “my” blog, dear friend that is in name only as I feel or think of it. I see the blog is a collaborative effort of you, Randy, and me. We all work to make the blog what it is. Without either of you the blog loses far too much and it changes.

Right now I am pushing to do as much as I can, but … when I fail you are there to pick up the slack. OT. Randy has taken to calling me twice a day to make sure I am OK. He is worried by my recent posts I might slip into depression again and worse start self harming. I keep telling him I am OK. This morning he called while driving in a snow storm and I love he called, but worried I was distracting him. So see you and Randy and Ron when he gets home and has time form the family I hope this blog to be for people. I hope that makes sense. Hugs

                    2. I think it makes sense. It’s what I understood at the beginning. Although I decided to curb my “big sister vibe!” As best I can… anyway, please strike a balance, and you will be great. You get to play, every day! So play sometimes.
