Hi Roger. They executed him. The video shows the shot him in the back as he was on his knees getting up. What is waking republicans up is he was a while male, so how dare ICE go after him. If they would go after a white male could they be next themselves. That is what it takes to get most republican congress members to change their minds on a subject is when it affects them personally. Plus they saw the crowds that walked the streets in protest and figure they are not going to be reelected if things stay like this. Hugs

I’ve said this several times that should white folk lament about the state of things to any African American, Native American, Latin American, Muslim, LGBT+ person the response would be ‘Welcome to my world’
There are some similarities with the Vietnam Era reactions to the anti-war demonstrations and counter-culture, although to be balanced they too had their ugly sides.
What may also be on the minds of those Republicans who are caught up in storm but are not really buying into it and care about the unity of the USA, are the number of laughing emojis on any FaceBook post lamenting the deaths of the protestors. These republicans may be well be worried about the ways things are going.

Hi Roger. Thank you for the link it was very illuminating. I hope the elections of the midterms go off fairly but I doubt it. tRump just had his Director of National Intelligence join the FBI and raid the Fulton County Georgia elections offices. tRump again said the election was rigged and he wouldn’t let them rig it again. So he intends to do it. All courts found that the election was rig or stole and that tRump lost the state. But he personally can not accept that he could lose of fail at anything. And his mental state is so bad that he now believes his own lies. Hugs

I believe that if he did try something so obviously crooked, in the backlash he and his court would find the nation becoming ungovernable.
He and his people are fantasists if they think they can.
This nation has no history of such a style of governance and you just can’t impose on system on another heritage with a snap of the fingers and expect it to work.
The USA just isn’t built that way. Not now that a large portion of the majority ethnic grouping feel genuinely threatened.

Hi Roger. I realized I dropped a word in my above reply. Courts ruled that the elections were NOT rigged and that tRump lost those states fairly.
Everyone is starting to think that ICE is a private tRump admin police force that he and his administration could use to control the country along with the military if they void some vote totals letting Republicans win. States are in charge of elections, but republicans also have stacked the courts with ideologs who rule by desire of out come than the law. Hugs

It won’t work for them Scottie, they just can’t dismantle the USA’s mindset, social infrastructure and heritages built up over 200+ years in one frantic hysterical gesture.
The built in antagonism to such a clumsy effort will push back. No matter how much support they think they have, there is an equal, if not bigger opposite.
Ultimately they will suffer from their own hysteria.
