    1. Hi Suze. I think it will get worse before it gets better. I am so sick of the gaslighting. I listened to Tom Homan babble about the poor mistreated ICE thugs and blame everything on the bad actions of the public. He was saying what a hard job they have with all the attacks on them from the people. The ICE thugs are a private unrestrained army of the administration against the public. We are no longer the land of the free. Think of the money these thugs have compared to the lack of healthcare, food subsidies, housing assistance, and all the other slashed safety nets for the public. This is a racial purification of the country and then total control of how all the people live, say, and do. Hugs

        1. Hi Suze. You’re on hospice. Suze what is going on? I have leaned on your advice on Gaza and the country in general.

I think our country will survive because if tRump / republicans isolate us too much, the rest of the world will simply boycott us and the US economy will crash. The right has a might makes right mentality but the truth is money / economy is what really makes the world function and countries prosper or fail based on how they play with other economic partners.

Suze wonderful lady who has fought for so many. I am OK and will be OK. I have a huge support network that includes the people here. Including you. Knowing you read and get benefit from the posts here helps me keep going. Now I have a question. Do you wish to or feel comfortable telling me / us why you are in hospice, and is there any way we can help? Hugs and loves.

          1. my sweet boy….no, there is nothing you or anyone else in this wonderful community can do. I am at peace with my own life, just wish my countrymen’s lives could be better. I have had heart issues for years. Have had a LOT of stents placed, two valves replaced, a partial bypass over the past fourteen years. I also have diabetes, which makes it very difficult to heal. A little over a year ago I had a squamous cell carcinoma removed and it had already spread to a few organs. I CHOSE no more treatment. Docs said I had maybe a few years doing nothing and I still chose to do nothing. My George is gone and there is not a single day that goes by I do not literally ache to be with him, so death is NOT a worry for me. I have a nurse who visits each week and an aide that comes daily to check on me. My bestie Angie lives here too so I have my friend nearby. I am leaving my cottage to her, so it just makes things easier for her to be here. You all DO help simply by sharing your words, your thoughts online. I read them, or have them read to me daily. It is enough. Love you my friend.

            1. Rest easy, suze, but I don’t mean In Peace quite yet! I think I already said what I had back when you closed your blog, and told us you’re just awaiting the time. George is patient while we your online friends hold on while we can!🫂
