I haven’t shared this guy’s work in some time, either.
I am a member of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists, and I also sit on its board of directors. Today, our president, Marc Murphy, wrote a statement for the organization in defense of journalist Don Lemon, who was arrested by the Trump regime for doing his job.

My favorite part of Raiders of the Lost Ark is when they remove the lid, and Greg Bovino’s face melts off. Of course, that would be impossible. He’s not tall enough to reach the top of the ark. By the way, I love this woman.
You know Donald Trump only cares about the optics because he has been perfectly happy with Greg Bovino’s job performance. Trump doesn’t have a problem with American citizens protesting ICE being murdered in the streets. It’s just too bad the optics aren’t good about that, as even Republicans are starting to cringe. Notice that Trump didn’t have any empathy for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar being attacked? And it’s probably his fault.

Hi Ali. I love the cartoons and the video. I have tried to avoid posting Clay Jones cartoons because I know you do. I do slip up sometimes because of how fast and how much under pressure I am under to get the cartoon / meme post done. But I do love your posts and this one is grand.
Sadly most days I don’t get to any other author’s posts due to my work load / personal issues but I really love what you and Randy do. If Randy thinks one of his posts is something I need to see he texts me about the post. If you feel the same you could do that as well. If I have not given you my phone number yet let me know and I will send it via email.
Ali you post so many wonderful things. Because I fail to add a comment to them I don’t want you or anyone else to think I do not appreciate all you post and do for the blog. I am still waiting for you to tell me if you would like more control over the blog. The things you post are grand and they are often a counter point to the much darker stuff I post.

Also if you will give me this chance to explain to those not up on how WordPress works. I don’t see comments on Ali’s or Randy’s posts unless I comment on them and get a response. I only see comments for posts I make. `There is a way to make all comments on the blog notified and viewable. Ali has used this feature so she comments on each post and reads all comments on each post. I admire this thing she does.. I couldn’t keep up with it all if I did that. But it allows her to reply to many comments that I wrote and I love that. Ali’s comments are always welcome and often something that can spark a further discussion. Because he posts so much less often Randy sends me a text when he posts. But again I don’t see comments on his posts either.
One last thing I would like to add. Likes make the poster feel they are being listened to and read by the people. Randy and Ali don’t get the stats for the blog and the posts viewers like I do. I want to tell you that both their posts get high ratings, but of course the more they post the higher the ratings. But if you see Ali or Randy post please think of liking and even giving a brief comment. It goes a long way to helping how they appear in the stats. As for my posts, I love comments but I would do what I do if I were shouting into the wind. Hugs
