The power of te federal government to make people’s lives miserable.  This is an important story on how the tRump faist goveernment is using all the levers of power to keep people from speaking up. Imagine the expense of needing to get a lawyer to fight the US government. Hugs

  1. we have gleefully elected a dictator to be President. I sincerely hope we don’t do it again. I may not live long enough to see the fall out in either direction, but it would be nice to see the bad guys taken down.
    I was just thinking of a movie ( at least I think it was a movie) with the line (ot title) “They shoot horses, don’t they?” We tend to shoot the good guys and elect the bad ones. not always, but just enough to keep the pot boiling…

    1. Hi Judy. It is challenging to remember but over half of the public doesn’t vote. Some can’t but the rest  are just too busy or don’t care. The young man we lived with us was that way; he refused to vote no matter how we tried to get him to do so. So of those that voted only a slim majority elected the tyrant because of the stupidity of both the single issue voters and the stupidity of the Democratic Party in sticking with a very unpopular policy of genocide in Gaza. That cost the Democrats the swing states, especially Michigan and other areas with large Muslim populations. I really hated that Biden kept saying there was no daylight between him and Kamala on Israel and that she was too weak to buck him. Hugs
