I need your help looking up a meme / cartoon story.

Hello everyone.  I am looking for a meme / cartoon story I had a few years ago and can’t find again.  It is of a kid going out in the morning with a sign hanging from their neck down to their chest.  The sign said something like I am good and I am happy.  Then through the day every insult and attack on the kid tore pieces of the sign off so when the kid got home the sign was destroyed being just a bit of what they started out with.  I really want to find it again but every search I try to do fails to give me what I am looking for.  Thanks. Hugs

  1. I searched a few different ways, then remembered that there are free places for people to make their own cartoons, and thought that might be a great break for you. The first one I found is Toony Tool.com . I think I have another one in my email somewhere. When I run across it, I will bring it back here. Needless to say, I didn’t find your cartoon, though I found many stories similar to what you write.

  2. I found the email I mentioned, and made a post with it. I went ahead and posted it tonight, so it’s up. Have fun! I think this would be a grand thing for you to do, because you know the toon of which you write.

    1. Hi Ali. The cartoon or series of them meant a lot to me when I first saw it. I wish I had saved it. It is another reason I always try to treat the people I meet with kindness and happiness. I have followed some one in a line when the person ahead of me belittles and berates the working person. I could see how it affected them when i step up next. One person going off and mistreating someone can make their entire day go bad.

Funny story about the rewards of being nice, I was in the grocery store last week. I was in the pet food aisle and ahead of me was a very elderly frail looking woman. She seemed to be reading every different can of cat food. I stood there for over five minutes when she bent over and went to lift a case of 24 cans of cat food from the bottom shelf. She struggled and I realized she couldn’t lift it. I then stepped up and asked if I could help her. She was so glad and thankful. But then she moved a few feet to the cat litter but her cart was still in the way of where I needed to get my cat food. So I asked her if I could help her with something else. She realized she was blocking me and tried to move her cart but got it caught. I freed it and told her it was OK. I know how heavy those boxes of litter can be, and if she couldn’t lift the case of cat food no way she was going to lift that. I asked her to show me what she wanted and I put it in her cart for her. I reminded her the bagging people will help her load the stuff in her car. I asked if she needed anything else and she did not. As we went around the store we met a few times more and she stopped to thank me every time. I was only being nice, it seemed a small thing to me but seemed to be a big deal for her. Hugs

      1. It is always a big deal to the person to whom kindness is shown, just as it’s a big deal to us when we receive kindnesses! 🙂 You did a great thing, Scottie.
