Let’s talk about Trump ignoring MAGA….

  1. In some respects I have a smidge of sympathy for the less virulent MAGA followers, because ‘Those you vote for will disappoint you at some stage’ happens every time.
    For Instance UK….
Personally I did not expect Keir Stammer to be so ‘quick out of the blocks’ on that one (only 5 months in and cancelling a cornerstone winter social security benefit for the elderly).
That however was down to a very bad judgement caused by a whiff of financial panic.
In Trump’s case it’s a case of ‘Yeah. Saw that coming. Like we toldja,’
He’s being doing MAGA bidding for a while, but has been getting bored with that and because the Trump bloc were so pleased with him doing as he was told on many things they gave him a toy box (ie Internal Scene) and now he’s having a great time living out his fantasies.

    Sorry folks.
Next time chose a grown up and experienced politician.

    Take care guys,
    Roger 🌈🙏

    1. Hi Roger. Yes I have heard vaguely that the people are not happy with the asterity messures that Keir Starmer is pushing. Seems the wealthy have taken over your government as they have ours. And as for maga tRump needed their adulation and constant praise as well as grifting as much money from them as he could. But as president he can grift and get praised to a much greater degree from other heads of state than any group of maga, so he doesn’t need them. He will return to them only when he loses the ability to grift from the big money guys, who will stop bringing him trophies and bars of gold as soon as he leaves office. The fact is tRump thinks all these gifts are his personally but the law says they belong to the US government, but when does tRump follow the laws. If he lives long enough to see the end of his term it will be interesting to see how much he steals to take with him and if the next president will constrain him. Hugs

      1. Hi Scottie
He now seems to be thinking he can do as he likes and he doesn’t need the MAGA grassroots anymore, obviously forgetting who put him there in the first and second times.
He can try and hide behind the Big Money but when one or the other start to ditch him, where will he go?

And this is starting to stir as well

And…he’s saying this war with Iran might go on for 4 or 5 weeks.

Annnnnnd when Wars start there is always The Uncertainty factor.
They got very lucky in Venezuela. You don’t get that twice.

        Take care Guys.

        Roger.

        1. Hi Roger. This is “war” is already going badly because the goals of the US are unfirm and different from the goals of Israel’s. Bibi wants a total change of everygovernment figure, all hardliners, all the red guard, the destruction of all military capability of Iran. Israel’s goal is to totally neuter Iran leaving Israel the unchallenged superior power to be feared in the region. But Venezuela was a cake walk compared to Iran. In Venezuela we had people on the inside helping I doubt that Iran is the same story. Iran is very mountainous and difficult for mass troops and protective vehicles to maneuver around while making small attack cells on quickmountian motorcycles and sniper rifles. Iran has long planned for militias to melt into the shadows and do terrorist style attacks similar to the attack plans of the Taliban in Afghanistan. Hugs

          1. Hi Scottie
You are right there. They’ve got quite different ideas. You could say Israel is focused and under Trump the USA is the opposite.
One grim fact about the Middle East is whoever is fighting who, the gloves are off straight away and it is for keeps or Last Man Standing. The USA should have learnt that by now,
The other fact is that Iran is not just Persian but 10 other distinct groups none of which are treated all that well by the majority regime- the Kurds and the Balochs actually have armed resistance wings. If this central government collapses and a replacement can’t get a consensus there will be communal violence in the usual way, that’s before we consider rivalry amongst ethnic Persian groups.
It does not bear thinking about Scottie particularly as Iran borders Afghanistan and the majority regimes are opposite sides of the religious divide.
            Very grim.

            Take care guys

            1. Hi Roger. Thanks for the information. As normal you fill in the gaps I missed understanding or learning. Have you heard that some in the tRump administration want to “Balkanize” Iran breaking it up into a dozen or so small countries of different ethnic groups? I would have thought the US would have learned from the Croatia / Serbia conflicts. I forget the third country involved. But it was all because someone forced arbitrary borders on people who did not agree to them. Hugs

              1. Hi Scottie
You are spot on there my dear friend. Bosnia Herzegovina was the third, where the bloodiest fighting and worst atrocities took place, but there were plenty to go around. Slovenia was only involved in what was called the Ten Day War, and not in the later vicious fighting.
Actually it is a blood soaked word to use as that area of the world is littered with feuds, and inter communal atrocities.
The total war dead amounted to somewhere in the region of 1,000,000, the majority civilian.

Countries do not just break up, nicely either.
India Pakistan break up known as The Partition in 1947 had a death toll of somewhere between 500,000 to 2 millions as minorities of all types were attacked by all manner of majorities.
And that is just one example. You could break your heart reading about others – I won’t go on.

There will be no clean and easy separation in Iran, minorities who will become majorities will have ‘scores to settle’ with those on the wrong side of their border. There will as you pointed out fighting over borders.
                There will be blood letting.
There always is. We saw it in Northern Ireland.
And after the cruel repression by the Iranian Government of protests in January of this year once the people are free of restraints there will be another sort too.
There is blood on those White Walls of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Northwest, Washington, District of Columbia.

                Take care you guys

                1. Hi Roger. Again thanks for the information even as it is heart breakingly depressive to think of what humans do to each other for stupid reasons. How anyone can think simply having an ethnic or cultural difference makes it OK to kill some who has different ones is something I won’t understand. The people in the US running around claiming the US is #1 in the world are incredibly wrong and silly. We have the world’s biggest military and used to have the biggest economy but we fall behind so much of the rest of the world in social services, education, healthcare, and happiness ratings. As I have been talking to Ali about I don’t understand thinking that because your male you are better than a female or because you are white you are better than someone of darker skin. I have never felt that nor understood it. Misogyny and racism simply make no sense to me just as hating someone who is LGBTQ+ simply because you are straight and cis does, I just don’t understand it. As for places like Ireland and the troubles, what do I care if your religion is different from mine as long as you are a decent person? I don’t feel we need to eat the same foods, celebrate only the same holidays, or worship the same gods. I enjoy differences and learning new things and foods. Hugs

                  1. Hi Scottie
I agree it is a mystery. Though it is one which has been with Humanity since time has been recorded.
We all notice differences between individuals and communities. They are there for reasons of physical development in different parts of the world and in consequence the cultures. Where the line must be drawn is to assume you and yours are superior to another group, for there can grow hate, which in turn leads to corrosion of the spirit and the mind, and in turn ends in ruination. Historically no superiority, which will be essentially material prevails and unless the prejudice and hate is expunged there will be a downfall as the superiority evaporates.
Long may the healthy and enlightened attitude you embrace continue and spread Scottie, for therein lies Humanity’s salvation

                    Best wishes
