Not that the planes won’t go elsewhere, but it’s good to see other countries stand up for right instead of so very wrong.

MADRID, March 2 (Reuters) – Fifteen U.S. aircraft have left the Rota and Moron military bases in southern Spain since the U.S. and Israel launched weekend attacks on Iran, maps by flight tracking website FlightRadar24 showed on Monday.

Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said Spain would not allow its military bases, which are jointly operated by the U.S. and Spain but under Spanish sovereignty, to be used for attacks on Iran, which Spain has condemned.

    1. Hi Judy. The US can not exstend our power without both our bases in other countries and shared bases along with asking to use other countries bases. Very few planes can fly long distances for long flights without refueling. If other countries refuse to let the US use their airspace it requires the attacking planes and troops to go the long way around and find other routes. The idea that tRump claimed that the US could do what ever they wanted or violate the rules of other countries will close those countries off to the US military which means no close help for injured troops, downed pilots, and hit ships. Often the US takes the injured to the nearest friendly country’s bases for emergency treatment before being flown to US facilities. We really do depend on other countries and tRump’s arragance is destroying that. Must make Putin proud. Hugs
