let’s hope his (koff koff) popularity is waning, one day at a time. It would be marvelous to see him deported, enclosed, or shut down in some way…I think his so called popularity is now turning to horror, as people start seeing him branching out to start wars in other countries, just because he can. He will always have a fan base, partly because many people just can’t believe anyone could be as dreadful as that (otherwise knows as “fake news”), but many more are beginning to focus on the destruction of things that were unbroken to begin with. It’s sort of like when your kid sister keeps destroying your clothes, and you get blamed for it, until somebody catches her in the act…
If a private citizen behaved this way, he’d be in jail and chained to a wall. This dude gets a free pass?
And there will always be that loyal-to-the-end fan base (I seem to be married to one of those) who only believe the good stuff. Which seems to be what he says, not what he does.

Hi Judy. I read your comment, then reread the linked news story several times. I guess other people know who you are talking about but I fail to understand. The story talked about plenty of different people in charge in both parties. So before I reply can you let me know who you are talking about so I can reply somewhat coherently instead of sounding like a moron? Thanks. Hugs.

While I applaud all that, I worry… Stories are circulating of another ICE surge. I suspect they’re being planned around the nation’s 250 celebration, which pisses me off, if true. At any rate, with things crashing for Trump is when he’s at his worse and lashes out.

Hi Michael. I agree with you. I am hearing that ICE is still harassing people in Minnesota. But from what I have read the social media companies are now bought by right-wing media owners like Larry Ellison or owned by tRump sycophant billionaires who are not allowing anti-tRump content / anti-ICE content to be aired on these platforms. These include TikTok, X, FaceBook, YouTube, instagram are a few. I am sure I omitted a few. But I do know I watch three Sunday news shows. This Week, Meet the Press, and Face the Nation. They are ABC, NBC, and CBS respectivly. On This Week it became clear that Jonathan Carl and his panel of consultants had been told to not say anything bad about tRump or his administration. So they used euphemisms and at one point they talked about how Robert Mueller volenttering to serve in Vet Nam and host Carl contrasticed with someone else who got out of serving with five deferments, to which Chris Christy responed “I know who you are refering to”. On every question asked the framing was are the democrats hurting the country by not letting the republicans do what they wanted? It was the same but more clear on Face the Nation where all questions even to the democrat was are the democrats hurting the troops by not giving the military the 200 billion asked for and Are the democrats not feeling bad for the long check in lines they are causing at airports for not funding TSA? When reminded that democrats offered to fund the TSA and republicans refused to vote for it, the host still kept up that line of questioning. Basically why did the democrats hate the American people just to oppose what the good republicans are doing to support the tRump aminstartion which was only doing what the country wanted them to do? The only show halfway decent to question both party people equally was Kristen Welker on Meet Press. The other two were not worth watching as they clearly were told not to criticize the cult leader, not to criticize the administration, but it is OK to blame everything on the democrats and to say republicans when meaning the tRump people. This is a huge problem it was clear during the run up to the 2024 election where all the news media talked constantly about Biden’s age and how sleepy he was a few times. Yet tRump is clearly in dementia, falls asleep during meetings and is well videoed doing it, yet no out cry from the broadcast media. It was clear in the 2024 election the media wanted tRump because they were good for clicks and eyes on stories, while Biden was not, he was boring. So the media stacked the deck. Now they are the dog that caught the car, and they have been bought by the car. Hugs
