The only thing that need be commented on is how the junior Democrat Consulting Class decided this was their ticket to the big time and ran with a rube not ready for prime time. This story is bigger than Platner
Let me put it another way: this morning when reading how RFK lowercase j security detail costs almost as much as trump’s and looking at its picture the thought occurred (not for the first time) that “he’s running for pretendident”. I Ain’t Afraid. I’m not afraid he’ll make the run … I’m afraid people will vote for him
Bare-footed barely literate rubes sprawled drooling Pavlovianly across a “couch” the back seat out of a nineteen and sixty-nine Chevy Suburban drunk as a skunk on the Ambien, Prozac, Viagra and bimbo bottle-blonde bobble-heading crotch-shots on Fox Kool-Aid, blindly following a charismatic “leader” to mass suicide
As long as there are rubes to be led by the nose down pats primrose there will be those who lead them …

Hi Ten Bears. I think I follow you. I don’t like how rushed his vetting was, but I did like Platner’s platform, and I do believe people can change and improve themselves if they’d like to. I also think he was taken down by the corporate establishment democrats working with his detractors to sabotage his campaign. We very well may lose the Maine seat due to his being forced out. The woman could have come forward at any time but chose to do so when he had no time to recover and had two days to drop out. She had a chance before in the first article written to state her complaint and did not. She claimed she did not because she felt other women would do so, when no one else had the same experience as she did she waited until the worst moment to come forward. Then disapeared. No more mention, no more press. Two things, no other woman had the same complaint and why wait until the very last second for him to fight the accusation? To me it stinks of anger and possibly a pay off. Without her claims Platner would have won easily, now Troy Jackson the milktoast replacement is behind Susan Collins.
I believe people can grow, they can improve, they can change destructive past behaviors, and I believe in second chances. I don’t think Platner was given that chance. I think the entire thing stinks and smells to the max of the corporate establishment desperatly trying to destroy progressive candidates. Hugs
