Fighting Back Against The GOP War On Trans Rights | Erin Reed | TMR

Wrapping up, Erin tackles the similarities we see between transphobic healthcare legislation and abortion TRAP laws, discusses the fight between progressive and fundamentalist states over border rights and trans care, and why parental rights might wind up saving trans lives in court.

Uncertain – gay themed short film

Homophobic bullying is one of the biggest problems for gay teenagers. It makes them suffer, destroys their self esteem and sometimes even drives them to suicide. Such cases happen every day all over the planet. Most of the don’t become a public issue and moreover don’t lead to any consequences.

As long as they are associated with Republicans, there can be no consequences for their misbehavior, because all they have to do is spout empty catch-phrases about “free [from consequences] speech,” the “deep state” or “lame-stream media” and how “they’re not really coming for me, they’re coming for you.”

That narrative gets passed on unquestioned by the media, the Democrats do nothing, the Cry Babies win. Wash and repeat.

There is, we as Dems are so weak and beaten down we cant possibly imagine a scenario where these people are held accountable.

You better believe if the roles were reversed the rightwing would have no problem investigating this. Why are we just not interested?

Revoke doc licenses? Investigate and/or disbar lawyers who peddled in the fake science and pushed it in court. There are things that can be done, we should be looking into it.

I’m not a lawyer, but “provide medical justification for interpreting Title IX to exclude gender-identity protections” sounds like it has the potential to be fraud – and, if a pattern, racketeering – if they made stuff up or lied about the science.

CNN’s Elle Reeve spoke with Darcy Schoening, the Moms for Liberty chapter chair in El Paso, Colorado. Reeve asked Schoening if she thinks there is a high-level, coordinated effort to make more children become gay or transition, and she said yes. Reeve asked who she thinks is behind that effort. Schoening said, “Teachers’ unions and our president, and a lot of funding sources.” Reeve followed up, “Why would they want more kids to be gay and trans?”

“Do You REALLY Think I’m Indoctrinating Students?”

A remarkable student comes forward at a school board meeting and shares the importance of lgbtq+ rights and transgender rights. The students shares the struggles the trans community faces in states like Missouri, North Carolina and Florida. The transgender community needs support now more than ever, especially in the young people like this student here.

Damn amazing!     I think this boy will go far in life, and it gives me hope for the future.   We need more young people like him.  Sadly the school board won’t listen to him or his supporters.   They have their idea that adults know so much more than kids do about their own body.   Why because their god tells them this in a book written 2,500 years ago amended and incorrectly translated over centuries, that this boy can not exist.   Their personal view of 1950s gender ideology and their political desires make this boy’s testimony something they scoff at and won’t hear.   Yet in a few years this boy and his friends will vote these people out of office if we still have a democracy.   And that terrifies these religious conservative bigots enough that they want to do way with democracy and allowing people to vote.     Hugs
