New York Attorney General Letitia James urged a judge Friday to “coerce” former President Donald Trump into complying with a subpoena demanding searches of three of his mobile devices and multiple document storage sites.
Trump failed to meet a court-ordered March 31 deadline to turn over subpoenaed material, claiming he had none of the documents demanded by James’ office as part of its investigation into his company’s financial practices. A week later, James asked the judge overseeing her office’s investigation to issue a contempt citation and fine Trump $10,000 per day until he complied with the subpoena.
“The Court should put an end to Mr. Trump’s intransigence and subterfuge,” attorneys working for James wrote in the Friday evening filing.
Wild that he can just do his God-King act and ignore a subpoena like the laws of mere mortals don’t apply to him. Put him in jail. He’ll probably refuse to pay those fines since we’re just making it look like he’s above it all by asking way too nicely for him to please comply.

The Justice Department recently noted the violation of rights and disturbing conditions inside Mississippi’s largest prison, Parchman. The DOJ’s report found the prison fails to protect prisoners from violence or provide adequate mental health care. Parchman is just one example of why reforms are desperately needed in state prisons nationwide, which disproportionately incarcerate black and brown people.

That is when at the orders of emperor DeathSantis the Republican cult wrote the bill taking away the special district Disney had. That it hurts the public of that area doesn’t matter. What is important is the money must flow.

What happens next is unclear, but Orange County’s tax collector and other opponents of the bill say ending Reedy Creek could lead to higher taxes for Orange and Osceola residents. The Legislature did not conduct an economic study on the ramifications of dissolving the district.
Legislators spent only two days examining the bill, unveiled on Tuesday, providing little opportunity for public input. Reedy Creek collects about $164 million in property taxes to maintain roads, utilities and other services, which is almost entirely paid by Disney.
One of the biggest myths circulating on the internet is that the end of Reedy Creek will finally force Disney to pay its fair share of taxes, boosting the economies of Florida and the counties its resorts are located in.
Let’s dispel that rumor right now: not only is it wrong, it’s the opposite that will take effect.

Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida’s state legislature are pressing ahead with their plan to punish Disney after the company called for a repeal of Florida’s anti-gay law.
A video posted by Pastor Jack Jensz Jr. of his ministry team worshiping aboard an airplane in mid-flight has amassed over 35 million views online. “I didn’t post it to stir anything up,” the Australian-born pastor shared in an interview with The Christian Post. “It was actually just a post to share with our friends and encourage our friends that have been following our journey.” The minister captioned the video, “We are taking this flight over for Jesus!”
After the clip went viral, it created an uproar online. People had varying opinions about what took place. For Jensz and his team, however, it was another miraculous ministry opportunity for them as they saw God move in a significant way during their entire trip.
