Rightwing troll Matt Walsh busted defending teen…
Media Matters revealed that on the program’s run from 2010 to 2011, broadcast on Delaware’s WZBH, Walsh asserted that “girls getting pregnant” at a “young age” is perfectly normal. He said that teen pregnancy isn’t a problem as long as the teens are married and stressed that it’s normal for 16-year-old girls to get pregnant because that’s when they’re “technically most fertile.”
“So to all of a sudden act like this phenomenon of girls getting pregnant at that — at a young age — that we consider young, 16 or 17, to act like it’s a new thing is ridiculous,” he said. “It’s always been that way. … Girls between the ages of like 17 and 24 is when they’re technically most fertile.”
“What I’m saying is that the problem is not, per se, teenage pregnancy — it’s unwed pregnancy,” he continued.
“At about 16, you’re an adult who is mature and can make decisions — you are that at 16. I don’t care what anybody says,” Walsh said. “And if you’re going to tell me it’s different, well, then how come for the first 10,000 years of human civilization, that’s the way it was? It’s just recently where all of a sudden we’re all ret****d until we’re 25?”
His co-hosts complained about the “whorish behavior of these same-aged girls” while another person on his show called them “sluts.”
The radio rant was a contradiction to the trans troll’s claim that affirming the gender identities of transgender minors is child abuse.
Walsh’s hypocrisy is compounded in a blog post the media watchdog unearthed from 2013, with his claim that adolescence is a fictional concept.
“Adolescence isn’t a product of brain chemistry — it’s a product of our expectations,” Walsh wrote. “If we expect 23 year-olds to act like they’re 13, then we will get just that. For thousands of years, 13 year-olds were expected to act like they’re 23, and those expectations were met.”

GOP candidate attacked for lessons that say gay p…
Yet almost daily I read two or three stories of religious leaders of different faiths sexually abusing kids, who are taught that they must obey the orders of the Priest / Pastor / Imam / Rabbi and any other lay person religious leader or god will punish them in hell forever. But ya it is teachers admitting that same sex marriage and LGBTQ+ people exist that are grooming and sexually abusing kids. These religious people never complain about the sex abuse their own do but are always projecting their sins on others. Hugs
State Sen. Darren Bailey (R), who is challenging Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D), founded Full Armor Christian Academy in 2016, a preschool through 12th-grade school that says it teaches kids “the courage to act upon Christian values and beliefs.”
The school uses a curriculum developed by the far-right Bob Jones University that’s so extreme it teaches that gay people are the moral equivalent of child molesters and that most slaveholders treated slaves well.
The school, according to Pritzker’s new ad, says that Full Armor Christian Academy teaches that “women in the workforce have been harmful to America” and that “evolution isn’t real.”

Putin says U.S. wants to push gender “perversions…
Here is a short quote from the article. Hugs
It’s not surprising that Putin would make statements against same-sex marriage and transgender identity. He is renowned amongst global human-rights groups for his anti-LGBTQ policies.
What’s surprising is how many Republicans and right-wingers in the United States agree with him.
Under the administration of former U.S. President Donald Trump, Republicans have cited gay marriage as a threat to families, religion, and social order. Republicans have tried to ban any acknowledgment of LGBTQ identities from schools and have falsely claimed that LGBTQ people and allies are forcing “sex change operations” on transgender youth. In reality, such operations aren’t conducted on children.
In February, Steve Bannon, former advisor to Trump, said U.S. citizens should support “anti-woke” Putin because of Putin’s long history of anti-LGBTQ politics.
Bannon and his podcast guest, private military contractor Erik Prince, said Russian people “still know which bathroom to use,” know that there are only two genders, they don’t fly Pride flags and “they don’t have boys swimming in girls’ college swim meets,” an apparent reference to trans female swimming champion Lia Thomas.
In June 2013, Putin signed a law banning so-called “gay propaganda” in Russia. The law ostensibly seeks to “protect children” from any “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relationships,” according to the law’s text.
The law has mostly been used to silence LGBTQ activist organizations, events, websites and media, as well as to break up families and harass teachers. The law has been roundly condemned by the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child, the human-rights groups Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, as well as civil rights activists around the world.
Putin has also largely ignored an ongoing and years-long crackdown against LGBTQ people living in the semi-autonomous Russian region of Chechnya.
In the crackdown, which began in December 2016, police and military officials arrest suspected queer people under claims of drug dealing or terrorism. The officials then use electrocution, beatings, extreme cold, starvation, dehydration, isolation, forced nudity and homophobic insults to get arrestees to reveal more suspected homosexuals, according to the Russian LGBT Network. An estimated 33 people have died in the crackdown and hundreds have fled the region since it began.
The Russian military has been accused of torturing and bombing civilians since it first invaded Ukraine in February. Both are war crimes forbidden by the Geneva Conventions.

Jon Stewart delivers masterful takedown of Arkans…
This is a great read, informative with out being highly medical intense. He fact checks her lies and myths the right loves to spew, showing how she is just making things up. He uses a real example that shows how she is being cruel to a segment of kids just due to dislike. He asks how she with no medical training thinks she is more qualified than the major medical organizations that support gender affirmative care including using puberty blockers that are safe and reversible. By the end of the interview she was so angry at him. It was grand. Nice to see a politician held to the truth in real time. Now if he could talk to those claiming that kids are furries using litter boxes in school. Hugs

Medical Groups Ask Justice Department to Investig…
The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association and the Children’s Hospital Association urged the department “to investigate the organizations, individuals, and entities coordinating, provoking, and carrying out bomb threats and threats of personal violence against children’s hospitals and physicians across the U.S.”
Boston Children’s Hospital in Massachusetts, Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee (VUMC), and Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio have all recently received social media threats after far-right influencers condemned gender-affirming programs offered by the hospitals and spread misinformation on their practices. This has brought both scrutiny — Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, a Republican, formally called for an investigation into Vanderbilt’s practices — and threats of violence — a local woman was charged with making a fake bomb threat to the Boston Children’s Hospital.
“Whether it’s newborns receiving intensive care, children getting cancer treatments or families accessing compassionate care for their transgender adolescents, all patients seeking treatment deserve to get the care they need without fear for their personal safety,” American Academy of Pediatrics president Moira Szilagyi said in a news release. “We cannot stand by as threats of violence against our members and their patients proliferate with little consequence.”
Dr. Morissa Ladinsky, professor of pediatrics at the University of Alabama who provides gender-affirming care to trans youth in Alabama and surrounding states, said that in her view, much of the vitriol around care for trans youth is fueled by the misperception that surgeries are a standard part of the care.
“Nowhere is it within the standard of care to perform genital surgery for gender affirmation for gender dysphoria on children or minors. That doesn’t happen,” she said. The only surgery for trans youth that can take place under accepted medical guidelines is top surgery for transmasculine minors, which is still rare — and not provided at her clinic.
“It’s my hope that no physician has to undergo threats of fear and intimidation in provision of standard-of-care medicine,” Ladinsky said.
