Hello Michael. Thanks for the reblog. Due to the myth of the wide west in the history of the US combined with greed has created a gun culture in the US that a segment of the population sees guns as meaning freedom. They see any attempt to limit gun ownership to anyone, even kids, as curtailing freedom in the US, which is stupid. There is nothing else to blame mass shootings on other than guns. The right wing likes to say mental illness is the problem, but other countries have mental illness without the same gun violence. How is gun ownership handled in Germany? Hugs
