Speaking of JUST the video (I think you know how I feel about the actual transportation of the immigrants … disgusting!), why do these people think they need to spend five to six minutes (and more) essentially saying the same thing they did in the first two minutes?
No need to answer, Scottie!! You already know how I feel about videos. It’s just that sometimes (like this one), I just want to scream … OK!! You made your point! Now shut up!

Hello Nan. I want to answer because I have been thinking about it. Why do that? It makes for a repetitive video and those paying attention lose interest. Then I watched Beau’s video on Jan 6th public hearings and he repeats the phrase ” … Tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, tell them what you told them”. It is the formula from Aristotle on how to make a presentation. Yes I went and looked it up because I am that way when a question interests me. So now we know why so many news people repeat themselves and they ask the same question in different ways. It is how they have been trained. I guess it helps for those only semi-paying attention but in truth it makes most people lose interest. Hugs

No doubt part of it has to do with filling the time slot allotted to them as well. sigh
However, “homemade” videos can stop at any point and many of them are just as bad. Of course, the people who like to video themselves seem to think what they have to say is super valuable so I guess it’s all the same.

Hello Nan. the people who like to video themselves seem to think what they have to say is super valuable so I guess it’s all the same. So true, so very true. I don’t want to sound like I am taking the side of those that repeat the same facts or lines over and over in a segment, but often I do wonder when I am doing a video or writing a reply if I am being clear enough, or if I made the point in a way that everyone can understand. Now when I do something in writing I can go back and read it, tighten it up to only 3 or 4 unneeded paragraphs. But when doing a video I can’t do that so tend to repeat a bit. Hugs

I sent you an email with a link that you may not have seen on the migrant topic.

Hello Nan. Thanks for the reminder. Now that James has altered my email system, I no longer have a full inbox. I have an empty inbox and a huge long multiple sections of divided blogs, names of people, companies, and memberships that all the emails go into, and I have to look down throw to see if there is a new blue number or a number at all. Some of them I ignore, and the numbers get very large which the other day upset James, so he asked me to empty the 11 grand of trash email. So when you said you sent email, I went down the list to people, opened it and next to Nan was a blue 1. How this is any different than I did it before I am not sure but it seems to make James far more happier. As for me I still basically ignore email unless someone tells me they sent it to me or the one lonely inbox for unsorted stuff that occasionally something hits in. Right now, the only thing he did not sort / file is the daily New Scientist Daily that he missed. I read it and delete it in case he notices it and decides it needs to be file sorted also. Ok I am off to read the conversation with DeathSantis from Robert Riech, one of the best economists I follow on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/c/RBReich Hugs
