DAMN but I’m getting sick and tired of these online publications demanding a person “sign up” before they can read an article!!! Especially when it’s a publication (like this one) that I would probably NEVER visit except via a reference.

It isn’t necessary to sign up for this publication. Simply close the pop up sign up prompt, and the entire VERY LONG article magically appears.
If the article is even moderately accurate, then what constitutes “lawful killing” in that state is unfathomable, as is charging his co conspirators with first degree murder. Using that argument a police officer could freely shoot any person and then charge those accompanying him with murder. Talk about a “get out of jail free” card.
