  1. Hi Scottie;
    Beau is great about those shirts he wears. They send a message all their own. The 303 shirt represents ‘Those who have the power to change something have the obligation to change it’ – or words to that effect.
    Let me say this: I don’t know that I could ever be a cop. They have a hard job. But damn! It takes the federal government to point out that if you have a gun and an armored vest and training then you need to put NOT stand there and watch little children be murdered!!! WTF!!
    How does any man have to be told that?

    1. Hi Randy. It was not always this way. See, I was trained by the Sheriff department as an auxiliary officer. We were under the same rules as the full time sheriff’s deputies. Yes we were armed, but again, under the same rules.

      We were never taught that our lives were more important than those we were to serve or protect. We were never taught that all cost we returned home vs the civilians we met. Instead back then in the 1980s we were taught deescalation technics, we were taught how to talk to people to put them at ease and not cause them fear. Today, I see the opposite, where police yell demands at people without talking to them or even bothering to hear them. How many videos have we seen where suspects have been shot or killed by trying to follow conflicting orders. We were taught so differently.

      See today they teach police officers it is a war zone they enter every day and that each day they may never return home. Their primary effort must be on their safety so screw or fuck the civilian, my own safety as a cop is most important. That is the difference between the way I was taught and what is happening now.

      Side note.
      Randy, I found the perfect Beau 303 tee shirt for you. But this month I can not afford to send it to you. Sorry Brother, I love you, but this is a bad month in our home. All new deductibles along with new co-pay scales for medications, which we have a lot of. They tell us that Ron’s first refill of one of his will be almost $600, but then drop to $11 per month. Well why not make the first damn payment easier to afford. Fucking for profit system. However I saved it as I think soon this first of the year money crisis will end. Hugs and loves. Scottie
