Are Christians against Racism?

    1. Hi Suze. Christopher Rufo created this entire controversy to damage the democrats and liberals and give the racist white republicans something to use against black / brown people. I will put a quote from one, and two other links explaining how he did it and why. He is a rabid fanatical republican white supremacist. Hugs. Scottie

“We have successfully frozen their brand—’critical race theory’—into the public conversation and are steadily driving up negative perceptions. We will eventually turn it toxic, as we put all of the various cultural insanities under that brand category,” Rufo wrote. “The goal is to have the public read something crazy in the newspaper and immediately think ‘critical race theory.’ We have decodified the term and will recodify it to annex the entire range of cultural constructions that are unpopular with Americans.”

        1. Hi Suze. I love you! That is so restrained compared to what I often what to call that … person. He goes out to deliberately find ways to demonize non-white non-straight non-cis people. He works hard to vilify anyone not like him or doesn’t believe as he does. Horrible person to put it lightly. This is when I wish there was a thing like Karma, because he sure needs his comeuppance. 1. I believe every book possess a soul.(the spiritual or  immaterial part of something, regarded as  immortal.) This idea comes from Tim O’brien “all stories are true, some of them haven’t happened yet,” There is a tendency to ignore the meaning of words which would be OK if discrimination equals racism. Are Jews a race or a religion? Anyone can call themselves whatever they want. The teachings of Jesus are not extensive and are relatively easy to follow. If one chooses to live a life embodying the teaching of a good man not a god are you a Christian? I meet many “Christians” who obviously do not practice any of the teachings. Trust is far too valuable to be handed over without investigation and exchange of collateral

    1. Hi Richard. As to the idea can a person be a good person without a deity? Yes it is very clear that if you are a good person because you want to be rather than because you feel that bad father god insists you do so, then you wonder if the ones doing it to avoid punishment are really good people like the ones just doing it because they are good people. As to what if Jesus was just a good person spreading good ideas on how to be nice. Well if you want to be called a Christian you have the right, but no one can tell you that you are not one if you claim you are. Just as no one can tell another they are not the gender they identify as or that the sexual attraction they have is not real. Only the person who experiences it can say if it is what they claim it is. Hugs. Scottie

      1. God made everything, humans make it good or bad. I was taught to make judgments based upon actions speaking louder than words and when the two don’t line up walk away with your hand on your wallet.😉

        1. Hi Richard. And that is where we part ways. I longingly support your right to believe in your deity, to worship said deity as you wish, and even talk about your deity. However I do not believe in things not able to be proven by science or shown in any evidence of existing.

Also like I tell people who try to preach to me about their god, their loving god not only watches little kids touching themselves, but he also watched when I was being raped as a little boy, he watched when I was being tossed the downstairs, he watched while I had my hip dislocated as a 4 yr old because I did not sexually please enough one of the adults who adopted me, he watched as I was thrown into walls, he watched while I was being denied food to the point that a different relative took me to the hospital emergency room and saved my life after I clinical died. So what does that tell me, well if he does exist he likes watching kids being abused in all ways without ever stopping it. Not a deity worth worshiping to me.

As for making judgements on a person on what they do and how they treat others, I agree. Hugs. Scottie

  2. We’re supposed to be against racism, because every human has the face of God, difficult as it is to see that in some people.

    Best I got.

    1. Hello Ali. Yes you are correct about racism. But the bible never said to tolerate and accept the wicked to be among you uncorrected. I say that since the actions of jerks and hateful sewage spewing ones are not Good / godly but from the devil what did Jesus say to do to the devil. Rebuke him / them. So that is what I do. Hugs.
