And now some of my favorite The Majority Report clips of the week

    1. Hello Ragnar. You are able to have your opinion on vaccines but as I have explained to you it is a fringe view that has been clearly and completely debunked. It has been four years of people taking the vaccines, which disproves everything the right wing media hosts pushed, everything the fringe medical groups claimed, and clearly the majority of medical organizations were correct.

The majority of medical organizations were correct on vaccines. They are safe and effective at saving lives from Covid. They don’t kill people, they don’t cause heart problems, they don’t inplant microchips in to the blood to control people, and so on. The people on the right pushed these ideas to hurt Biden poltically and make themselves money. Hugs. Scottie

        1. Hi Ragnar. Those adverse reactions are minor and not life threatening. Covid can be and is. Even now unvaccinated people are dying from it. Those are now established facts. Dude you are fighting reason and reality. It is like people still arguing the earth is flat, or that the sun revolves around the earth. 4 years of proof is in. If the fringe was correct more people would die from the vaccines than died at the start from Covid before the vaccine. The data shows that did not happen.

You say you use reason. Reason says the idea that vaccines were dangerous or harmful has been disproven. Hugs. Scottie

          1. Scottie, I agree with you in terms of the technical details. For me, the pertussis vaccine for whooping cough was off-the-table for 2 reasons: 1: My status as an epilepsy patient precluded my getting it because my medical care providers thought the seizure risk made it inadviseable. 2: Early experience with whooping cough gave me a preexisting immunity.

Regarding the involvement that Robert W. Malone has with mRNA technology, I think he had intended for the possibility for there to be vaccines that were based in genetic components, not killed or weaken viruses. There are sources that indicates he promoted misinformation about the Covid so-called vaccine. Considering the fact that the vaccines have mRNA as part of the recipe, recipe being my choice of word, what he says I would be inclined to take at face value.

            1. Hi Ragnar. See again this is why I question your cognitive abilities. You are like a little kid repeating the same thing over and over long after you have been told something or corrected. You are the kid insisting that Mickey Mouse is a real mouse because it says so in the name long after everyone keeps tell you that it is a person in a costume. Seriously. We have covered your legitimate medical exemption. I have agreed that if your doctor says that your medical history is not compatible with the vaccine that you shouldn’t get one. Also we talked about Malone. He was not part of the vaccine team, he had no part in its development. To say he help invent the technology so he some how gets expert knowledge of the vaccine is wrong. It is the same as saying the person who invented the first combustion engine is qualified to argue against modern engines with all the integrated computer technology. Malone is wrong according to the experts. The experts that created the vaccine says he is wrong. Period. End of story. But Ragnar seriously understand that we have been over this, both things, a dozen times. Unless you are trying to say you have a mental handicap, please stop bring this stuff up. It doesn’t prove anything. Malone created the tires, he did not build the transmission or rest of the car. Hugs. Scottie

              1. Scottie, these so-called experts probably were not there to see the creation of the technology. Even if Robert W. Malone never invented the vaccine, he was involved in the technology that facilitated its creation. Every single source of fact-checking probably have no interest in facts.

                1. Hi Ragnar. So called experts … People with advanced educational degrees and experience in the field of study … so called. Tell me again, your advanced educational degrees? How long did you work in the field of medical science and immunology? Oh right, you have none. You watched right wing media hosts who have none either. Well Ragnar if I have to put their expertise up to yours or the right wing hosts making money off denying science …. I choose the credited experts. You really should also. Hugs. Scottie

Yes Ragnar I am mocking you if you are wondering. See you somehow think you have as much understanding and knowledge of the subject as the people who devoted their lives and careers to it. It is like you claiming to be a rocket expert because you watched a science video, or me claiming to be a doctor because I worked in an ICU! Education matters, experience matters. To say otherwise is to try to climb Mount Everest without the help of the local Sherpa, nothing any experienced climber would do. Hugs. Scottie

                    1. Hi Ragnar. If I mock you it is because you deserve it. If you can’t see that your comment deserved mocking, I am not sure how good your cognitive abilities are. What you wrote was pure projection. For example, “Every single source of fact-checking probably have no interest in facts”. That is just plain stupid. The job of fact checking is because they are interested in getting the facts, the correct information out. All that says is you are not interested in the facts, instead preferring your misinformation.

As for the stupidity of your first sentence, “these so-called experts probably were not there to see the creation of the technology”. Think about that. My ford dealership techs were not there when the model A came off the assembly line but they can fix a modern car which is something those that built the model A can’t do. Malone did not work on the vaccine, and the technology used was much more refined and advanced on from when he worked with it. Plus again he was part of a team he did not create mRNA by himself, and his fellow team members don’t agree with him.

Seems we can stop bringing up stuff already shown false, OK. Hugs. Scottie

                    2. Scottie, either Robert W. Malone is a damn good liar or the mRNA which he refers to was a subsequent off shoot of an mRNA that was created that he expanded upon. I was not even around during the time he allegedly created the technology, so I have no way to fact-check his claims to determine validity.

                      Like

                    3. Ragnar. The people in the know say he is wrong, that the tech he worked on was reworked and refined over the years and most importantly, not the same at all as what he helped develop. I gave you links to articles that pointed that out. Did you not read them? Did you ignore them? If so what is the point of me talking to you. I don’t do this to waste time. I do it to educate you and share true information. I think because you keep coming back to the same debunked shit over and over and over and over and over … It is like a kid demanding a candy and doing so despite everything said to it about soon it will be supper.

Ragnar, you do have the ability to fact-check him. I have done it. This crap that you weren’t around is bullshit. Today we have the most powerful tech at our disposal to find stuff out, the truth if we want it, conspiracies if we want them. All you had to do is search the guy’s name and add debunked. Period, article after article comes up showing he was wrong. All reputable. All verified. Stop acting like a kid who doesn’t want to accept that his favorite TV actor is not really Hercules. Hugs. 4. Scottie, I have read your cited sources. Maybe Robert W. Malone should have clarified his involvement in the mRNA technology. Example: If he created an updated version of it, however, the updated version had some issues that needed work to remove the bugs, problems if you will, then he should have said so.

                      Like

                    5. Again Ragnar. The point was what he was saying was wrong, and he was being paid by right wing media to say those things. Right wing media pushed his and other incorrect views because it hurt the Biden administration and made those media stations money and clicks. Sadly if you keep repeating a lie people accept it as true, and it is hard for them to then accept they were lied to or misinformed. What was it the Nazi guy said. Oh yes here it is. Hugs. Scottie

                    6. Scottie, that may have some truth to it. To be honest, I was not even around during that time, so I only have his word against those of other people without any real adequate context. For the sake of discussion, if he was involved in creating an upgraded version of mRNA technology, not the original version, he should have framed it that way.

                    7. Hi Ragnar. I think I understand what you are saying but I am not sure why we are still going over this. We have discussed it to death. He did not work on the updated version, he got paid to assert wrongly things that he did not correctly understand. That was pushed by right wing media to mislead people. Really end of story. I think we can let the subject drop. Hugs. Scottie

I find that interesting as his views are in direct opposite of what you have expressed here before. What about Sam or the show do you find you like? Do you also like other hosts, what about the guests. Well I am off to bed, I am very tired. I look forward to reading your reply in the morning. Night, Hugs. Scottie

        1. Oh you really need to watch closer Ragnar. He gets very animated and agitated. You are correct that he has a grasp of facts and issues that many people lack. But he is also very emotional on issues he cares about. Do you watch the entire show, or just the free half? If you don’t watch the entire full show I encourage you do so. There is a way to do so without paying if you have the time. If not they offer free memberships for those not able to afford the show. Please let me know how much you watch. I can explain how to get the full show. But yes he is not without emotion and yes he knows his facts. Hugs. Scottie

          1. Scottie, I have seen some videos where he is somewhere between animated and relatively calm. To elaborate, here is what I mean: He gets into his topics with relative enthusiasm and yet is calm when he seems to offer rebuttals and disagreements. While I lean more to the right on a lot of things, I have a good share of left-leaning news anchors I find to be worthwhile to listen to.

            1. Hi Ragnar. I think this is where you and I differ again. I rarely find any news anchors worth watching. My view is if they are just reading a script that someone else in the network is writing up for them then they are not worth my time. If you look at the videos I post they are from individual researchers and posters. And I prefer those that place their sources in their pages so they can be double-checked. Hugs. Scottie.

              1. Scottie, I agree with your general premise. If you will indulge my curiosity, here are 3 questions for you: 1: Who on both sides of the political spectrum do you think are interesting to listen to? 2: While he would have helped his case by not getting into the Sandy Hook issue to the extent of saying it never happened, what do you think of Alex Jones’ position that we are turning into a police state? 3: While we both seem to enjoy him despite the fact that I disagree with him politically, do you listen to The Majority Report w/Sam Seder regularly?

                  1. Scottie, of the hosts of the more left-leaning inclinations, I really enjoy Thom Hartmann’s Youtube channel, The Majority Report w/Sam Seder, Secular Talk w/Kyle Kulinski, The Jimmy Dore Show, Vox, the David Pakman Show, to name my favorites.

                    1. Oh Ragnar, good try, Jimmy Dore is one of the worst dorks unthinking out only for money and clicks people there are. But that is only the surface of the things I have asked you that you have ignored. But OK I will answer the questions you asked. I seriously doubt you can hold the views you do and watch all these mostly left / progressive hosts. At least not if you really hear what they are saying. I have a feeling you’re yanking my chain as they say. OK, it is late here, I have placed your comment in a tab for morning. Hugs. Scottie

                    2. Ok Ragnar. Well if you see what videos I post you get the flavor of what I watch. I watch all the major networks. I don’t watch Fox, they are an entertainment network not a news channel. And I don’t find their entertainment hosts funny. Any of their hosts I can fact check with reputable sources and find every thing they claim is wrong. They have openly become the media arm of the RNC. As for reading I spend time every morning going through the major print news networks including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Vox, Reuters, Associated Press, Time. I have Apple news on my devices along with all the major outlets, so they mix the different media outlets in one spot to pick from. There are a few more but I can not list them off right now. You get the point. I do read some Thom Hartmann’s written posts. But I have never watched his YouTube channel. But you see the different posts I forward from different columnist. Two I would suggest to you are Heather Cox Richardson at https://heathercoxrichardson.substack.com . She is an award winning historian. A real one, accredited and everything unlike self appointed one named David Barton. The other person you can watch or read that is Robert Reich. He is an award winning economist. https://www.youtube.com/@RBReich

As for your list above … I don’t watch Kyle Kulinski or David Pakman and as you know I can not stand Jimmy Dore.

As for that waste of human skin Alex Jones … He is a blow hard disgusting con man that made a living selling gullible people fake boner pills / supplements while mocking, insulting, and hurting grieving people. I have watched him rush up to people and bully them in the public streets, yelling and screaming at them, getting in their face. He wouldn’t like it if he tried that shit with me, I would kick him in the nuts and use every skill I have to … convince him to back off and be a decent person. I can not think of enough bad things to call Jones. He gloried in the pain of fellow humans. Do I need to say more?

As for a police state, Jones hates that he got caught lying and a jury ordered him to pay for it. He hates that. Like every criminal he hates the justice system. Are we a police state?

Well quite frankly our liberties are being stomped on and denied … by maga thugs namely the Proud Boys, the 3%ers, the Oath keepers, Libs to TicTok, Mom’s for Liberty, just to mention a few that threaten and use violence to prevent legal drag shows, legal drag queen story hours, legal pride parades. Show up at events where parents proudly take their kids to hear stories and these people rush in with guns and scream and yell scaring the kids and adults. If they don’t want to go to these events or take their kids fine, it is a free country, but they have no right to block or prevent others from enjoying them.

Our rights as parents are threatened by fundamentalist Christian people demanding their church doctrines get taught and their view of what they want their child to read is the only books any child can read. These people don’t want to live their lives and let others live theirs openly as they do, they want to force everyone to live like they are members of the same strict church. They want to destroy marriages like mine by making it illegal to talk about it in schools. Bullshit. If Sally can talk about her summer vacation with mommy and daddy so can Billy about his vacation with daddy and daddy or mommy and mommy.

Yes I do watch the entire Majority report including their special events. Do you watch the entire thing or just the first part. There is a way to watch the fun half free if you want me to tell you, I have shared it with others. Sam himself shared it. Ok, got to go. Hugs. Scottie

                    3. Scottie, every video I have seen from The Majority Report I have seen various lengths of based on the specified time for each video from start to finish. Sam Seder’s commentary I find to be insightful.

                    4. Hi Ragnar so you are not really watching the full show, either the free half or the total show including the fun half. You are just getting the clips off YouTube. You don’t get the real full feeling of the show and their standing on issues that way.

Ragnar do you have a couple hours free in the afternoon? They start the show Monday through Friday at about noon, 12 pm. They air on a lot of platforms but I watch them on YouTube. In the live box when you click on the show, in the info box they list the fun half for free. Click on it. Now you have the full two or three hour show for free. At this point I save it in my watch later folder so if I have to close the browser or computer I can come back to it because as soon as they end the show they make it unlisted.

With only the clips you miss all his editorial stuff and the other great stuff of the show. If you need more help let me know. Hugs. Scottie

                    5. Scottie, the reason they have been of various lengths is so I could get some analysis of Sam Seder’s style before the full shows were watched. I also tend to look for things that challenge any potential preconceptions I might have with the hopes they are wrong.

                    6. Hi Ragnar. OK but it is what I said, you are watching clips. I think you would enjoy the entire show. But the calls on the fun half that challenge Sam are the most fun, he lets people talk and argue with him. Hugs. Scottie

                    7. Scottie, I will look for full length shows and listen to the callers. Just so I can get a your perspective, have you heard him get into passionate arguments with his callers or does he listen and challenge but never turns it into arguments?

                    8. Hi Ragnar. He does listen, which can sometimes be frustrating for me and the staff. He cares, he is smart, he loves to try to educate people … just like I do. He treats callers the way I treat you. He is passionate and if someone is going on and on he will interrupt them. But as for getting angry, nope. He simply shoots them down with facts and reason if they are wrong. If you called the show he would listen to your view point before explaining the faults in the view. He will let you say why you think he is wrong. He gives each caller about 7 minutes before cutting them off.

Here is the thing, I doubt you can find an old full show on the YouTube channel. You might find clips of calls he had.

I gave you the way to watch the full show including interviews, fun half, and calls. Just remember he takes Thursdays off, so it is Emma and the guys.

Go to YouTube, The Majority Report Channel at noon or soon after. Then click on the live show, then click on the fun half link in the description info box. At this point because I rarely can stay at the computer for the entire show I save it to my watch later file on my YouTube channel. I normally let the show run for 30 or 45 minutes before I start watching so I can skip the interviews if I am bored by them.

I think you would like the full version. I do admit to skipping some of the interviews, they get long or tedious on subjects I don’t care about, but if you have the entire show it is easy to fast forward through them. Best luck on it. Hugs. Scottie

                    9. Scottie, it has been more frequent that I watch already posted videos. Having said that, the answer otherwise is yes. From my observation and it has varied based on segments, it seems to me that Sam Seder is somewhere between enthusiastic and relaxed in his presentations. To explain it in a way that makes more sense, he focuses on the issues in a relaxed manner, however, he seems to have enthusiasm in his presentations, not dull and boring reporting. I actually like him despite polar opposite political inclinations.

If you click on the home page or refresh YouTube you see the free half of the show, the ones with interviews and sometimes a few calls. But in the information box is the link to the fun half, the entire show. Click that, now you have the entire show. At this point I put it in my watch later folder on YouTube, so I can go back to the entire show as they make them unlisted once the stream is over. That gives you access to the second half and that normally is when he takes calls. They don’t screen it is who ever gets through. Hugs. Scottie
