    Right out of the Aleksandr Lukashenko president of Belarus playbook during the protests against his ‘re-election’ (under suspicious circumstances).
    That’s where the USA is heading but newsflash MAGA supporters, these days there will be consequences, one way or another.

    1. Hi Roger. Well it happened. A trump supporting anti-trans man killed two state democratic lawmakers in Wisconsin. Plus killed the spouse of one and badly hurt the other one’s spouse. Even in his address about this he couldn’t stop himself from attacking the democratic lawmakers and Dem governors. He spews hate to everyone he thinks won’t bow to him yet screams he is not at fault for what happens from that hate. He encourages the police and ICE thugs who hurt people needlessly, and shoot at clearly marked journalists. He pardoned the Jan 6th rioters who were very violent and assaulted the police, yet he threatens massive force against peaceful protests by people using the rights given in our constitution to protest. He was very mobbed up when he was a builder in NY and after he laundered money for the mobs. He saw how the mob bosses worked and he envied their power over others. He is a mob boss wannabe. Hugs

      1. There will be consequences Scottie.
        Out there will be a very small number of scattered individuals who will take the violence to the Trump supporters be they public or politicians or anyone. Where and when it cannot be predicted yet, but it will happen.
        Trump is not the person to handle this. A more astute politician would talk tough about folk breaking the law and ask the nation to unite.
        Trump only throws fuel on the fire,

I am not sure to be sad or happy that the violence happening is being done by those on the right, the maga cult, inspired by the most hateful inciting rhetoric from right wing media. The left and progressive side seems to prefer reason, crafting laws, and using the courts. Sadly the Christians on the SCOTUS ruled according to their faith over science in the case of trans affirming care for minors. The very study that Tennessee had done trying to prove they were correct showed they were wrong and the care was safe and needed. The same treatment that the state was claiming was harmful for trans kids was specifically allowed for cis kids. Why if it was so dangerous. This is pure discrimination. But the 6 hyper Christians on the supreme court went with god created them male and female and men shall not wear female clothing nor shall females wear the cloth of men. It was all about the patriarchy remaining in control and about misogyny. I am pretty depressed and upset over the regression of progress and the rolling back of rights. Hugs

          1. Sorry for the delay in replying Scottie. I missed replying to a few. It’s been hot here, not like Hot as some states of the USA experience but enough to fuddle this Brit Brain (and AC isn’t a common feature in homes here).
            Anyway.
            At present you are correct. The Liberal and the Left are playing fair by peaceful demonstrations and actions through the courts.
            But.
            I think I might have mentioned this before. There is nothing so dangerous, determined and focused as those democratic folk when they finally conclude their liberties are under threat.
            It is very surprising and worrying what lengths some will go to. Gives those who have been doing the threatening a nasty shock too.
            Here’s hoping the moderate approach prevails.

            1. Hi Roger. Yes I agree. I just watched a video of a group of guys with no badges who went on to a private property with no warrant and tried to question workers there. The owner told them to identify themselves or leave. They refused to identify themselves except to say they were immigration. The owner kept saying that they were bounty hunters. She kept telling the workers to not say anything to them. She kept yelling it was a kidnaping. She scared them off. Stores have been robbed by masked men claiming to be ICE agents, women must be scared in these areas. Here in Florida we have stand your ground laws and police have complained that if they see a group of guys grabbing someone off the street they would try to stop it with violence if needed. People are going to start shooting each other far sooner than I thought it could happen. Hugs
