Hi Muttpupdad. Yes and it terrifies me. I have a constant stream of progressive / left wing media in my ears, I do that because it helps me keep the memories of my 23 years of abuse at bay. It is not always successful but it is the only way I know other than therapy. Ron and my doctors want me to get that … but we are poor and money is an issue.
Ron and I got married on January 15th 2025 after the current government of Florida decided not to fight the coming wave of same-sex marriage. Now with the fundamentalist right wing Nazi right trying to undo not only our marriage but the entire 1130 rights given to straight marriages. It terrifies me about what the SCOTUS might do. Could we return to the point where people like Ron and I with over 25 years of relationship be back to being married in one state but if we travel across country we will have rights in some states but not others? It is terrifying and the big question is why is this religious doctrine to be being pushed on the entire secular country the US was founded on. So yes papers are scary for those that may not look white, it is far more than just race. It goes to the rest of the non-Fundamentalist Christian country that the US used to be that the tRump people want to make it.

Hi Judy. Yes and it is worse than that. With every turn of the screws he manages to make sure the next generation / school kids don’t get espoused to the LGBTQ+ kids. It is all about returning to the 1950s society. No mention of uppity black people. White men could talk at work of going home to a waiting wife who would bring them a drink and they can smirk they will fuck later that night. The LGBTQ+ dared not be in the public view so the straight white cis males are not bothered by hearing of them and the white females are “resigned” to their place as housewives. Judy while this situation scares the …. out of me it should also scare anyone not white straight cis male who will lose all their rights since 1950s under this horrifying regimen. Hugs
