Sorry for the lack of posting and no cartoon meme post tomorrow morning. I have been very sick all day with vomiting and diarrhea. From the morphines and muscle relaxers I was impacted, which was a harder constipation. I had taken fiber and it did not help, so I took 2 laxatives. They did not work so the next day I took 2 more. I have been diagnosed with a sensitive stomach meaning it can’t take pressure so it was refusing to let me eat / swallow anything and the bile and acids needed to be vomited up. By noon the dam broke and I have spent most of the day near or on the toilet or in bed. At 1 pm Ron made me some chicken noodle soup. It helped calm my stomach but did not help the other end. I am trying to eat something now due to my blood sugar but I can only do a chicken strip and a few french fries. Tomorrow we go out for our big shopping day, glad it was not today which we had planned. By the way I was stationed in West Berlin in the 1980s. Hugs.

scottie, take care of yourself. You matter much more than cartoons and commentary (although yours is spot on)–sometimes it;’s just not fun being human, is it. (hugs) Spoil yourself a little (but I dont think french fries are going to help a wonky stomach…too much grease…)

Hi Judy. Thank you. I did not eat much anyway. I gave the plate back to Ron and he put in the fridge. This morning my blood sugar was again low, so I had four left over ribs. They were really meaty and I almost did not finish them. But my stomach is starting to get better. We have to go out and get groceries this morning. I would rather go back to bed, but life is what it is. Hugs

Hi Ali. We decided to break it down into two days. I couldn’t stand more shopping after several hours walking around Walmart. Unfortunately it takes both of us to shop because Ron is a real good price comparing size of items but he gets distracted easily or can’t spot the item he is looking for. Sadly we will have to go back to that same Walmart tomorrow because my back gave out and Ron noticed how much pain I was in and that I was limping so we skipped the entire meat section of the store. Our plan was that Walmart today because it is a super center large one, then tomorrow go to two or three of the local Publixs and the smaller family Walmart. I like the newer smaller Walmart because I think it stocks better stuff and is easier to navigate but it doesn’t have a lot of items the bigger one does. I like the Publix’s soda and a few other things. But I am not sure how much I will be able to do. We may have to make a store run on Monday. Today even though we did not get meat nor a lot of expensive snacks or cleaning supplies it still cost us over 380 dollars. Things have gotten so expensive. But Florida is an expensive place to live anyway. Hugs
