Hi Roger. Thank you. I am grateful to Annie for spreading the information. I can’t go to a protest. I struggle to walk or stand that much, and even sitting becomes painful for me quickly unless I have my chair that is set to support me where I need it. But she listed ways a home bound disabled person like me can help. I loved that and was glad to share it. I want the protests and resistance to be peaceful. I know some want a shooting war on both sides. I don’t, because I don’t think our country can come back from or heal from something like a war against the government such as our civil war over slavery the south did against the north. We still have not healed or solved that one. How much longer will this one take to heal or recover from. Brother against brother, sisters against parents, friends against friends, when and where would it end or stop. How to recover or heal from that? Hugs

There would be no coming back from a communal shooting conflict Scottie.
The enmities, the folk tales, the bitter heritages would not go away, not in a land the size and diversity of the USA.
At best folk would retreat into their own communities, the minorities of all sides would be obliged to leave, and there would be mutual sullen suspicion settle over the lands.
A worst there would be separation into induvial semi independent ‘nations’, the president and Washington having a nominal role.
The last Civil War, peace and reconstruction was achieved by The North sacrificing the Black population of the South to a semi servitude and brutal local oppressions.
There will be no passive acceptance of such roles in any conflict this time.
And the predatory outside world will move in and pick off the weakest states and turn them into a type of colony. The Empires of the previous centuries did this with expert ease.
And Trump will be castigated for being there at the beginning.

Thanks, Scottie! This is really a time when we need huge numbers of people to make their opposition known. And though I always look for the good news, time is short. Only We the People can stop this rush toward fascism.

Hi Annie. Yes it seems to be on we the people as congress seems unwilling or unable to stand up to tRump or try to stop him. As I said in the post I love that you included things those that can’t go to a protest can do to stop / protest the growing fascism in the US. I couldn’t walk, stand or even sit long at a protest, but I can use the phone, and internet to be part of the movement. Hugs
