Hi Roger. No the republican party is not listening. Our government has been captured by the upper incomes and wealthy big corporations for some time. tRump’s greed and mob boss mentality just finished cementing that control. Congress critters as Ali calls them are driven by personal greed and desire for power. Too many see getting elected as the golden ticket to personal wealth and power and keeping their position is worth far more to them than helping the public. The upper wealthy want a desperate population that will accept any job at any low wages in any bad conditions with no complaint just to survive with no quality of life. However their wealth is blinding them to the fact that people have been economically strangled and become so desperate that they are rising up against those in charge. Zohran Mamdani is an example of that anger and coming rage. The democratic leadership better wake up and slow their gravy train for themselves and spread some around for the people or the people will remove them from the trough. Hugs
