Standing against Christian Oppression

Back after 9/11 I used to hear people demand that “good” Muslims stand up to the terrorist “bad” Muslims. Politicians said it, Christian religious leaders said it, until it became part of the way to slam all Muslims by claiming that no other Muslims would stand up to the Muslims causing havoc and death in the world. As is mentioned in the video when Westboro Babtist got pushing their hate message it was non religious groups that took to fighting them, most notably bikers who used their bikes and bodies to block both the sight of the Westboro Babtist people, their hate filled signs, and their screeds shouted through bullhorns. As hate preachers got more numerous and louder with more press coverage I asked that question of Christians they demanded from Muslims, where are the good Christians to fight or counter these hate mongers calling for my death. For a long time not one Christain answered my request or answered my call for them to stand between me and their hateful breather. But in the last two years I have seen them come forward, these good Christians. This year on my blog here we have seen a few grand people of faith who have pushed back hard on the bigotry and hate of the bad Christians. Over the last year and especially over the last 6 months I have seen, read, and posted of Christians going to school board meetings to argue against their bigoted fellow Christians, putting themselves in front of those trying to harm gay and trans kids. I can see that the LGBTQ+ does have allies in some churches and among those who feel their god is a god of love, understanding, and forgiveness. Those whose faith doesn’t require them to monitor the genitals and consensual sexual relationships of adults are become more vocal in trying to make other Christians see their religion shouldn’t be used to hurt and harm others, but to uplift and care for others.

I am listening to this short video for the third time. I am amazed how simply honest Rev Trevors is being, how sincere, and I respect him and his faith more for what he is doing, what he says here. I just hope other Christians will stand up to those who want to hijack their faith to make it a religion of hate, their holy book a weapon, and attacking those who are different as the mission given them from their god. “Stocks were lower on Wednesday — following recent market gains — as results of the midterm elections provided no clear answers about who would control Congress yet. A crypto selloff also weighed on markets.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 646.89 points, or about 1.95%, to 32,513.94. The decline was led by Disney, which fell 13.2% after the entertainment giant missed analysts’ estimates on the top and bottom lines. The S&P 500 shed 2.08% to 3,748.57, and the Nasdaq Composite slid 2.48% to 10,353.17.

Stocks fell to session lows during Wednesday afternoon as the price of bitcoin dropped to a new bear market low. The declines occurred after crypto exchange Binance said it’s backing out of plans to acquire its rival FTX, citing the results of a due diligence exam, as well as recent reports of mishandled customer funds and alleged U.S. agency investigations of FTX. Donald Trump ended his pre-midterm rally blitz in disgusting fashion, calling House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “an animal,” championing the death penalty, and giddily imagining the prison rape of the journalist who reported on the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. “The leaking from the Supreme Court is unbelievable,” the former president said Monday night at a rally in Ohio.

“But you get the information very easily. You tell the reporter who is it … and if the reporter doesn’t want to tell you it’s ‘bye bye.’ The reporter goes to jail. When the reporter learns he’s going to be married to a certain prisoner who’s extremely strong, tough, and mean, he will say, ‘you know, I think I’m going to give you the information.’” He laid out the same fantasy at a rally in Texas last month. The audience burst out in laughter, just as they did Monday night in Ohio.

Read the full article. The piece goes on to note that Trump has recently been asking advisers how to copy Russian and Chinese methods for imprisoning journalists. Last night Trump also praised China for executing drug dealers after a “two-hour” trial.

Several months ago, Trump briefly asked a small gathering about what would have to be done to curb the freedom of the press.

The majority of Americans do not vote because they can’t get to the polls or because they are so disaffected by past elections. And whats worst is that young voters are less likely to be engaged in politics because the dinosaurs in Congress have ignored every single one of their voting issues.

When told the true number is less than 1,000 a year Rogan laughs about it because he loved the idea scaring people on the idea that millions of kids were transitioning. Tomorrow I will read stories all over right wing media how millions of kids are being forced to use puberty blockers as they are forced to transition. This is the sort of dirty tricks and made up false information that the right loves to use against trans people and the rest of the LGBTQ+. Facts don’t matter to these people. Also not mentioned here but Walsh has a recorded show where he said girls at the age of 12 should be married and have sex and by 14 should be having babies because they reach their peak sexuality by 16. Yet it is the gays and teachers he calls groomers. Hugs

The projection screen in front of Rogan and Walsh lit up and producer Jamie Vernon interjected with a fact check from a Reuters article. “That’s a very small number if that’s right,” Vernon said referencing the article, published October 6, 2022, which said only 4,780 children had been placed on puberty blockers within the last five years. “Less than a thousand people a year,” Vernon reiterated. “A million sounds great,” Rogan laughed.

Walsh, who has called for charging adults who bring kids to drag show as pedophiles, recently appeared on JMG when he declared that Disney’s black mermaid is “unscientific.”

The previous month he appeared here when he blamed the Buffalo mass shooting on pandemic lockdowns.

Earlier this year, we heard from him when he declared that lesbians will cease to exist over the next 30 years.

Before that, he appeared here when he called for banning adoption by LGBT people. And before that, he appeared here when he called for dissolving the United States.

Walsh also claims that shooting people “is not against the law.” Walsh has declared that “everybody would be happier” if arranged marriages were mandatory.
