Sunday ‘Toon Afternoon

So it happened again. I had started adding to this page at 7 am while watching news. I was almost read to post it, but wanted to add a short YouTube clip. I forgot to start a new block, and when it appear on the page it wiped out 26 memes I had so far added. I had to go back through the history and open each of them in a new tab. I will now add them back in below. Damn WordPress and their need / love for the block editor. Hugs. Scottie

What a week. I fought with WordPress because they changed how to post links, but even though I lost a lot of work, I got a few here.

Damn fucking WordPress. I worked for three hours to add to this post. Everything I added got wiped out due to my forgetting to hit copy and had a link in my clipboard. Hours and tens of tens of images gone. No way to get them back. I hate this new system to force everyone to use the block system, which makes blogging harder for me on the computer as it is designed for doing on a smart phone or tablet. Damn it. Sorry guys. Sadly every time I tried to share the link the entire post was wiped out. Another fix by WordPress that makes blogging harder. It is the same with Twitter / X. All the ways I used to post them no longer work, it is very hard to do now. Always WordPress works to make blogging by computer without their block system horrible.

Instant old age

I was in my email today, something I don’t normally do. I stumbled into a folder I created back when I first opened my beloved Scottiestoybox blog. In it was a meme I think has relevance today. Remember the blog was started in 2007, I was feeling much younger, better, and I had not had my mental breakdown due to my childhood abuse yet. That was the year I first openly told Ron I was abused … he was silent for a few seconds and quietly replied, I know I could tell by your responses when I wake you, by your nightmares when you cry out “Please don’t hurt me, no no no”. We did not talk much about it for years, maybe if I had I wouldn’t have broken down so much, so hard, so completely. Anyway injoy the image, Hugs. Scottie
