And here we are … from liberals are cool https://liberalsarecool.com

Little boys model their behavior from many things, but the adults in their lives have a big influence.

Republicans became Trump. The abuser and rapist is now a role model.

I hope these kids using rape culture misogynist language are exposed to some decent people so they don’t grow up to be MAGA.

Children deserve better.

Going to keep posting about 2024 turnout until I hear a good explanation.

What happened to Roevember?

Every election/special election leading up to the 2024 Presidential election had massive progressive wins.

I have a hard time believing so many Democratic voters checked out on such a consequential election.

One thing I have to process more is how the incompatibilities are being manufactured and manipulated by corporate media, both legacy and digital.

The divide needs bad faith for which I have no use, yet bad faith is the currency of MAGA.

Late stage capitalism won. What’s the antidote?

Does this smell right?

All I heard about was record-setting early voting and voter enthusiasm.

15 million fewer Democratic votes seems very odd. Trump did not grow his base, btw.

  1. Some of those messages are terrifying, particularly the attitude of the boy in the first pic. If that is true, that represents an awful, insidious trend, and makes me fear for my American friends even more.

    1. Hi Ben. I believe it is true, because I heard it chanted by maga cult to women right after the Dobbs decision overturned Roe. A lot of young men believe they have a right to rule women, a lot of men on the right also be they should be able to control what their wife does, thinks, or desires. Some religious churches teach that men must rule the house and all in it including the wives. It trickles down to the younger members of a family. Sad but this is how regressive the US has fallen in the last 10 years. The right wants to first return to the 1950s and then with project 2025 all the way back to 1850s. Hugs

  2. It was gender-race prejudice that lost this election. The reason I say that is, the difference between 2020 and 2024 is very close to the amount that Biden won with in 2020. What we had were Republicans who voted Biden, but this time either sat it out or voted Trump because they will not vote for a woman, or a woman of color.

    Prove me wrong!

    1. Hello Ali. I agree with you, it was misogyny and racism. Harris was a black woman. If Walz had been on the top of the ticket then he would be president now instead of tRump. If we had had a primary at the midterms a male sadly would have been nominated and won.
I am listing to another video that says that democrats shifting right doesn’t work, doesn’t pull republican votes and turns off the left. Every time a democrat goes republican right the electorate chooses the full republican. Biden won because he was showing how left and different from tRump he was. The progressives were iced out by the corporate democrats joining together and getting everyone to bow out, and Biden openly courted Warren and Sanders. Harris ran her closing arguments showcasing Cheney’s and courting right wing voters. I will post the video. Hugs.

      1. It is true, and Harry S Truman said it first, that people will vote for the real Republican over a Republican-light. We did not get Republican light; we got Democrats, and we got Dems as liberal as the country will currently allow. AOC was everywhere, though I didn’t see her here even though she advocated for LGBTQ+, and she’s but one example. We were everywhere speaking our piece. We were not covered, and nobody looked for us to disseminate it.

I saw VP Harris with former Rep Cheney; they were not talking Republican politics, they were talking about saving democracy. It’s not the same as the impression some received simply because they appeared together. It was Rep Cheney joining in a bipartisan effort to help keep the Don out of the WH. It did fail, but not epically. The vote numbers tell the story.

I can tell people how to get the Dems to move farther left if they want to know, but most people are far too apathetic to bother with it, even though it’s easy. They prefer to blame Dems for every little thing wrong, all the time, which I’ve noticed has been a thing since Jimmy Carter’s presidency. Painting a party with a broad brush when one does not bother to get involved with it beyond possibly voting for their candidates does nothing but divide good liberals, and impede progress. People on our side who want things have to do the work.
😄 Again, respectfully! Good people can disagree. It’s just that I’ve been up close in the middle of it for so long, and have seen it work, and have seen it not work. Division doesn’t work.

        1. Hi Ali. As many of our community have. Division does work, it is working great for tRump this election. Sadly it doesn’t work long term or for the good of the country. Or anything other than the personal profit of the ones trying to divide the people. I think of how many labels we have for fellow humans and how some use them for inclusion and some use them to vilify the others. Hugs
