    1. Hi Roger. I have been ill for 3 weeks and so if I missed any of your comments I am sorry. Yes it is a sad place we are in the world. It becomes our goal to not only fight against the fascist regime in the US but we have to work / push for a better future. The fault of the democrats is they stopped giving the public a different path since Nancy Pelosi made the party lurch right for the corporate dollars. And Schumer was right there with her. Hugs

  1. I find the Both-Sidesing™️ of the shutdow disturbing.

Am I getting bad news reports? What I heard is that the Democrats won’t sign off on cutting the tax credits that pay a good portion of ACA policy rates affordable. I read that they got together and picked this as the item they would demand in budget negotiations with Republicans.

And then the Republicans allowed no negotiations. 47 refused to talk to any Democratic congressmember. Mikey Johnson is keeping congress closed which pretty much prevents both talks and votes.

How is this the Democrats fault? I would think that when the Republicans refuse to negotiate in any way this does not add up to a childish pointing of fingers from Both Sides™️.

    1. It isn’t the Democrats’s fault. And you are correct that there is no Both Sides on this, though it is what Republicans do. It is fortunate that far more people see what they’re seeing, and agree that it is Republicans’s shutdown, and Republicans refusing to fix it.

      1. A lot of these comics are saying that both sides are blaming each other. Well, yeah, but Republicans are refusing to negotiate. I’ve heard they couldn’t even get Republicans to talk to them. I don’t see what the Democrats could really do in that position and yet here we are. “Look, both sides blame the other side.”

            1. Yes, they are, and confessing to it in the same breath they deny it.

Both sides are not making these problems that one side warned about months ago.
