“Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) on Tuesday criticized President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan, arguing there are other ways to support student borrowers.
‘I just thought that it was excessive,’ Manchin said, adding that he disagrees with the announcement proposing to forgive $10,000 per student borrower for those making up to $125,000 annually. Pell Grant recipients will be eligible for up to $20,000 in debt cancellation.
But Manchin said he would have taken a different course of action. ‘When people were calling me from back in West Virginia, I would give them all the options they had that would reduce their loan by going to work in the federal government,’ Manchin said.
He continued: ‘You have to earn it.'”

That’s what I was going to say.
In every last place where Great Britain was ousted, the citizens set off fireworks every year in joyous celebration of the anniversary of the event.
We need to take these people seriously and what they are trying to do must be fought with everything we can bring to the fight. They don’t want a democracy and they have increased their reach, their actual authority in our country by a large amount. If they take over, if they install the Christian Taliban we won’t get it back. Remember Iran was a secular country before the over throw of the Shaw, and then the religious minority took over. That was back in 1978 and that religious minority has increased their hold over the population / country. They took over the schools, they took over the news systems, they restricted all aspects of the people’s lives to try to protest or even understand what was reality. Religion and the religious leaders took over the entire society and made the reality of the people what the religion’s leaders desired. This is what these people want for the US. This is what they are working hard as they can make happen in the US. Hugs
