This cartoon lies while making a claim the other news agencies lied. The right thinks that just because there is a laptop that means all their wild claims were correct. Spoiler alert the report they cite states there was nothing incriminating found on the laptop. Nothing! It is like the Durham report where they claimed that it showed Hillary was spying on tRump. No the report did not say that. They claim the report showed that Hillary was working with the Russians, no it did not. In the case of Hunter’s laptop Rudy kept claiming that he had it in his bedroom, but I guess that was another lie? These people see no wrong in anything a Republican does and believe tRump is pure greatness, yet the find issue with Biden for even the smallest misstep.
While this cartoon is correct stating the US has invaded with made up pretexts it doesn’t mean that the US shouldn’t help the Ukrainians and stand up to Putin. We did wrong, and we should be held accountable. Putin / Russia is doing wrong, needs to be stopped and punished. This must not be allowed by any country.

Now that the need for that advice has diminished Dr Fauci is less in the news and the right can not use him to distract, misinform, and rile up their base.

I do get tired of going over the same things. Her chemistry levels are with in specs for a woman. She was getting beat by other women but that doesn’t get much press. She has put in the time and effort to get good at her craft, which is swimming. Some people just excel at their sport, and others do not. Women have been under the accusation of being too manly since women’s sports started. I posted that this morning as I was getting up. What about the woman runner that was so good she was breaking records, there were claims she was really a man and other crap. She was born a woman and because she was really good she was accused of being a man? What does that say about how women’s sports and the women in them are really seen?
Lia Thomas came in 5th in a race yesterday. Seems average to me. This is something that the right likes to hide and only stress the wins so it seems the trans people are sweeping every event in women’s sports. But that is a lie.
The number of people that get sexual reassignment surgery is extremely small as a percentage of the population. The number that participate in sports is even smaller. It’s certainly nt a problem that needs to be addressed in Congress or in the state legislatures. Let the governing bodies of the various sports address it.

A) If you’re not good enough to be competitive on the men’s team, you’re sure not going to be making records on the women’s team. There’s not THAT much difference in most sports.
B) Would anybody actually believe that a jock would want to become a woman and draw the ire of conservative homophobes and transphobes merely because he’s not the top man on the team?

And you can’t. You can’t because it doesn’t exist. A tiny handful of people on hormones or who’ve had surgery want to compete and that’s a national issue because Tucker and his buddies say it is. Why?
Their usual whine is “gender assigned at birth”. Yet the briefest possible glance at Caspar Semenya’s Wikipedia page clearly says HER gender assigned at birth was female, and she’s never taken hormone therapy of any kind. But SHE has issues being allowed to compete.

I posted the audio of an oil executive saying the wouldn’t increase production because right now the profits are too great. They are price gouging and they are proud of it. It doesn’t matter any more who gets hurt in the pursuit of the almighty profit.

This was drawn by a right wing cartoonist with no acknowledgement that the right denying masks and getting vaccinated would cut down on the chance of another surge in the Covid virus variants.

It’s NOT because of gas prices. It’s because they don’t want to pay taxes to support anyone but themselves. Trade lower gas prices for lower education, restrictive healthcare, lax safety regulations, more government in your private parts, etc.
Reading the comments on this cartoon was enlightening. Every tenth comment explained that the report did not say that. Every tenth comment explained what the report said, and how it differed from the right wing narrative. Then after the comment that explained things there was a rash of right wing misinformation posted as the real true story and then the insults. That is what the right wing is today.

Again the right wing cartoons are desperate to find anything to stick in blaming Biden. Gas prices have been addressed, we even have audio of one of the CEOs saying there is no way they would increase production and reduce their profits.
My gods, their country is being destroy while their people slaughtered and the right wing can only think of the money going to help them. Why, because the right things only of the wealthy wanting every cent of the nation’s wealth and they cry to see it going to help people.
Sick. While crime in the US may seem up right now it is not anywhere near what it was 10 years ago. But to compare any crime in the US to a war torn country that has been invaded and their people are being slaughtered is gross.
Yes Biden made a gaff. He goofed. He admitted it, he laughed about it. He is human. He has been known for making verbal mistakes. He did not get angry when he did it, he did not deny it. I find the difference between him and trump greatly refreshing. tRump would have attacked the press who reported it and claimed he never said what everyone heard him say.
Despite the rights many lies, such as Rudy saying he had the laptop but the authorities wouldn’t look at it, the authorities really had the laptop, the emails that refuted what the right wing was claiming were already in the hands of the DOJ / FBI. They clear both Hunter and Joe Biden. The emails to Hunter’s business partners also stressed many times that Joe Biden wouldn’t be bound by anything that Hunter was doing, that no one doing business with them should do so thinking they would influence Joe Biden’s behavior. It was so above board it is like watching a 1940’s TV show.

There is a difference between giveaways, like tax cuts for corporations and billionaires and investing in country to modernize it and make it competitive on a global scale.
Here we go again. The following is from “New Hopes for a Changing World,”Bertrand Russell, 1951:

Our Government is supposed to help everybody, not just to give largesse to rich people in the comedic hope it will effectively filter down the wealth strata of all citizens. Roosevelt did the upper class a true favor, and some still refuse to believe it. Unfortunately, it took a world war to eventually unite us — for a while.

Extremist Ex-GOP Rep Is Up To Something In Ukraine
The Seattle Times reports:
Former Washington state Rep. Matt Shea, the far-right Republican who was found by a House-commissioned investigation to have planned and participated in domestic terrorism, is in a small town in Poland with more than 60 Ukrainian children, trying to facilitate their adoption in America.
Shea has said his group helped rescue 62 children and their two adult caregivers from an orphanage in Mariupol, the city in southeastern Ukraine that has been bombarded by Russian forces.
“I asked him many times, ‘What are you going to do with these children?’ and he told me that it’s not my business,’” Weronika Ziarnicka, an aide to the mayor of Kazimierz Dolny, said of Shea. “I got the feeling in my gut that something’s wrong with this guy; he didn’t want to tell me his last name.”

Shea first earned national headlines in 2019 when leaked chats showed his violent fantasies about executing non-Christians and when it was learned that he had participated in militia drills to train young men for “biblical warfare.”
Shea advocates for the creation of a 51st US state based on “biblical law.” He has also said that all American men who fail to avow allegiance to Jesus should be executed.
He was expelled by the Washington state Republican caucus but refused to resign even after the feds found that he had “participated in an act of domestic terrorism against the United States” by helping plan the armed takeover of the Malheur Wildlife Refuge in Oregon in 2016.
He did not seek reelection in 2020 and is now the pastor of Covenant Christian Church in Spokane.
