Extremist Rep. Paul Gosar: “Ukraine Is Not Our Ally And Russia Is Not Our Enemy, None Of This Is Putin’s Fault”
Dutifully parroted by state media outlet Russia Today:
Republican Rep. Paul Gosar (Arizona) has condemned the push from both parties in Washington to send billions of dollars worth of weapons to Ukraine. Gosar, an immigration hardliner and anti-interventionist, was one of 57 GOP lawmakers to vote against a $40 billion economic and military aid bill for Ukraine on Tuesday.
While a number of Republicans have been vocal in their opposition to fueling a “proxy war” in Ukraine, the GOP establishment has shouted down these critics, with conservative talk show host Mark Levin on Wednesday referring to the anti-war contingent of the party as “Putin a**-kissers.”
“Ukraine is not our ally,” Gosar shot back. “Russia is not our enemy. We need to address our crippling debt, inflation and immigration problems. None of this is Putin’s fault.”

Can someone tell me why this action by the Israeli military is supported by the civilized world? Why does the US give billions of dollars a year to a country that has a population of people they attack even as those people try to have a funeral for their members killed by that very military? She was a clearly marked member of the press that the Israeli military did not want to report their abuses of the Palestinian people. So they killed her. Then they attacked her funeral and harassed her parents at their home that day claiming the occupied people who have no rights to fly or hold up their own flags. It might upset the good real people of the nation, the Jewish people. I am not an antisemite and shouldn’t have to say that. Criticizing the actions of a belligerent government against people unable to defend themselves is not bigotry against the Jewish people. The people of Palestine have no rights. They live under military rule. Their children can and often are rounded up and detained for no reason and the government doesn’t need a reason according to the Israeli government. The Palestinians live in an open air prison under military rule of an occupying army and they have no rights. The Israeli position is that they want to make it so horrible that all these people either die or leave, giving all of the land to the occupiers, who claim it’s all theirs given to them by their god. Israeli Forces Brutally Attack Mourners Of Murdered Al Jazeera Journalist
“Israeli soldiers and Palestinians clashed on Friday during the funeral of slain Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. “As her coffin reached the Qalandia crossing between Ramallah and Jerusalem, clashes broke out between Palestinians and Israeli troops, Channel 13 News reported,” according to The Times of Israel. “No injuries or arrests were reported. In footage broadcast by Al Jazeera, some masked Palestinians could be seen raising assault weapons and firing in the air.” The video shows Israeli soldiers pushing back and beating Palestinians. Gunfire can be heard, though it’s unclear who fired the shots. Those carrying the casket can be seen temporarily losing control of it. Akleh was shot and killed on Wednesday while covering clashes between the Israeli Defense Forces and Palestinian gunmen at the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank. Al Jazeera Media Network condemned Akleh’s death and blamed Israel though it remains unclear who shot her. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said Israel is “completely responsible” for Akleh’s death, while Israel has said it is investigating the matter and has sought Palestinian cooperation, only to be rebuffed.”

Her alleged crime: filming the police. The body camera video, first reported on by the local news blog Hell Gate, shows Patricia Rodney surrounded by cops before one of them grabs her, takes her to the ground, and handcuffs her. Rodney, a diabetic, was visiting the police station on Dec. 2, 2020, to pick up a copy of a police report she’d filed about a missing glucometer, as required by her insurance provider. But instead of helping Rodney, NYPD officers turned her away. When she became frustrated and pointed her phone camera toward them, cops grabbed her as she shrieked for help.”
