The first ten minutes of this show are incredible. Chris Hayes details the threats VP Pence was under and how his people suspected tRump would turn on Pence including trying to have him taken out / removed from the capital. I understood why Pence and his wife never went home after they left Washington and they moved constantly staying with friends and supporters. Many people are not aware or are forgetful of trump’s connections to organized crime figures. Pence was clearly worried that tRump or his supporters would still try to kill him. But with him removed from the capital the plan was to have Grassley or another senior Republican simply give the election to trump in the way the Eastland memo details. In fact Grassley did say he would be presiding over the certification then he managed to not even show up himself. Think he was warned of the insurrection ahead of time? The whole show is worth watching but the first ten minutes are very informative. Hugs

How many times the article says that equality is wrong, that women must be servants to the male with no rights or it destroys humanity and western culture. Notice that he blames falling birthrates on women, he blames stealing kid’s virtue on drag queens / trans people. The only one he never blames for anything bad are the men. The men that run the country, the men who refuse to pay living wages so people can afford kids, the men raping and molesting kids, the men are not the problem according to him who is male. To solve the world’s problems, give all power to straight white Christian males who will take the country back to 1950. That was when white straight Christian males were the boss of everything, women obeyed men serving their needs, other religions were not considered a real thing, blacks / minorities knew their place and stayed there, and the LGBTQ+ were deeply hidden too terrified to attract notice. God calls Israel to the wedding feast, and in His parable, the wise virgins trim their wicks until the Bridegroom appears to take them. The women are not running to the groom any more than mankind can run to God. He had to come to us to redeem us.
Do you see the pattern? There is active and passive in these icons. Christianity is marriage. Equality cannot exist in marriage.
Our culture is a cult of equality. The strange irony is that terms for active and passive lovers exist in homosexual slang, but not that of normal couples. I hate to say it, but the rainbow people have clearer terms for these dynamics than most straight people do.
What is it about magnets that give them their unique properties? They aren’t equal. There is a passive and active property to them, and they work on a polarity of positive and negative. Magnets either attract or repel according to their force. Opposites attract and stick. Magnets that lose their polarity lose their sticking power, just like men and women.

Idiot! Having children or not is a very personal choice. There’s no law that says that you must have children. We chose to have them. We worked hard providing for them and making them good, caring people. Not everybody does that.
The birth rate had already been steadily declining for most of the 20th century. Then during the 1970s it leveled out. It has been remarkably steady since. Rising or falling by only a few percentage points for the last 50 years.
Like the gun issue where they blame everything but the guns these people refuse to acknowledge that “low birth rates” are a direct result of 40+ years of failed conservative economic policy. Happy, well off people have kids. Miserable people, in debt, who own nothing, waiting out the latest boom-bust cycle do not.

The Republican and Conservative parties are leaving GOP Rep. Chris Jacobs for dead following his call for a federal ban on assault weapons in response to the massacre by an avowed white supremacist in Buffalo.
“This is not the person we endorsed. We did not endorse this Chris Jacobs … he’s actually to the left of [US House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi on this,” Conservative Party state Chair Gerard Kassar told the Post Thursday about his party withdrawing support for Jacobs’ reelection.
The embattled Erie congressman has incurred the wrath of of his party’s far right since saying last week he would support an assault weapons ban, raising the age to purchase semi-automatic rifles and limiting ammunition capacity in gun magazines.
And below is the result of his stand. Jacobs, not incidentally, voted against certifying the result of the 2020 presidential election and against both of Trump’s impeachments.
And this is what happens to so-called “moderate Republicans,” which is why they no longer exist.
I just can’t understand how or why gun control has become such a political football. I do know that the Repig Senators and Reps do their best to preserve all the money that the NRA and gun manufacturers give them to help keep them in office. The Repigs in DC are really a purchased party. “The People? Who are they?” “The money? Now you’re talk’in my language.”
