  1. Right there is your ‘invasion’, the coup d’état. The infiltration of evil into every level of government and society. Ain’t no different than those cold-war stories we used to hear of ‘soviet sleepers’ ~ sneakers: sneaking their way in to everything from the cops and courts to the zoos. A coordinated, multi-generational assault on the core of America …

    1. Hi Ten Bears. I feel you are correct. No so much in my mind that these people have a religious faith but that they are driven to make everyone else live by their church doctrines / religious faith. That is the evil of it. Trying as hard as possible to make the US a theocracy of their religion and using their positions of power along with loads of donated money to remove rights from others while creating special rights for themselves. I remember when they used to complain that gay men were trying to get special rights. They were horrified by it as just having equality and being able to live with the same protections from discrimination that they enjoyed was a special privilege / right for gay people. Now they feel no shame in demanding the real carve out of special privilege / rights for them but only them, no other religions. Hugs

      1. Hi Ali. I did enjoy it. But I am surprised you can’t use the edit function on the comment as an author or go into the dashboard and go to comments. Once there, select yours and click edit. You should be able to do that, I thought? If the dashboard is not available to you and you need me to do an admin function just let me know. I know I have said this before but I appreciate all you do. Hugs

        1. The few times I’ve tried that, always on my own comments, I’ve gotten through the process, then get a little black box with white text on the left hand bottom corner that I’m not authorized to do that procedure, so I stopped trying, and continue apologizing. It’s not a big deal to me. The box I get is similar to the blue boxes after I post or schedule, that say, “View post.” If that helps! But I’m OK with you getting to it when you get to it. If you get to it!

Also, I want to toss out that we’re expecting pretty feisty weather this evening, so I’ll do what I get done on posts for tomorrow, then come back tomorrow and do what I can when I can. Actually, while I’m typing this at 3:10, we had a brief outage, and my internet is still coming back, so this is a long comment because I can’t send it!😄

The outage was just brief enough to turn everything off-I have to reset the stove clock-and wait for the net to hook back up. It’s likely that Evergy, the company from whom my town buys quite a bit of electricity, dropped us (the town can generate plenty of power, but it’s more expensive, so we buy it. Not my jurisdiction to say yea or nay.) Anyway, power came right back, but the net takes sometimes 10 minutes before it’s up. It’s up just now, so 6 minutes, and I’ll cut this off before I chat someone’s virtual leg off!

          1. Hi Ali. Sorry to hear about the bad weather and the outage. I put back up batteries on the system I have. The computers run for an hour to hour and half and the modem / router / printer run for 2 1/2 hours on back up.

As to the comment do you want me to remove it then? I thought it was fine and funny but I can for you. Just let me know. As for posting never fear, I am up at 2 AM not being able to sleep, I may make a few more than normal anyway. It is all good. Either way.

What I am really curious about is what permissions you and Randy have and what access to the dashboard stuff. I admit I rarely pay attention to it but there is some interesting information on it. Hugs

              1. And Ali … It was a grand comment in both places. But I am still curious what you see when you go to the dashboard and what parts you can access? No need to take time now to answer my wonderings …. but in the future, if you would like to explore the dashboard and let me know what is open / available to you or not, I would love to know. Hugs

                1. The thing about this particular operation is, that I get it basically done, then when I click whatever it is to finish (I haven’t tried in many weeks,) it says I’m not authorized. So I’d basically have to go in there and try to do a lot of different things to see what I can or can’t do. I’ll try it again on a comment next time, because of course I’ll comment on the wrong post again, and then let you know. Maybe I couldn’t do it before because WP was suffering a moon phase, or something.
Thanks, Scottie! and thanks again, that really wasn’t a bad comment at all, was it!
