    1. Hi Jeff. Oh yes. Every time they tell me how great the morals are I think of all the abuse, killing, and rape in it. Or in the leaders of the different fractions who do those things. The book has a god who is a republican in the OT and is cruel and mean. Also a sex pest. And has slaves. I hope all is well for you. We both need the Democrats to hold their ground on this. Weird that the republicans do also or will be slaughtered in the midterms yet the republicans won’t give in and work out a deal that would save all groups. Hugs

  2. What a mealy mouthed, mean-spirited excuse to try and get out of social responsibility. This business of looking for one half of a sentence in The Bible and saying ‘Yipee! A Loop-hole!’

    So, riddle me this MAGA Christians….. Are you suggesting that one of the apostles has a superior take on things above Lord Jesus?
    Matthew 31-46……get these folk to read the whole of that section….all of it…and see them squirm.

    And while we’re about it Luke 16 :19 -31….. Take a look at that passage…a good long look.

    2. Hi Roger. I love your passion and your commitment to the words in my bible that were in red. Those words I was told were what Jesus said. I struggled to reconcile the words in red and the rest in black. I loved the red ones, not so much the ones in black. But as the video says … how to say to a child or struggling person you don’t deserve to eat so go hungry. Not to dwell on it but I understand going hungry as a kid. I ended up in a children ICU over it. My adopting parents were like the republican maga today. So yes I am generous when it comes to the idea of feeding those who come to you hungry. Hugs

      1. They do anger me Scottie, because they take an English translation of a commentary which has undergone several other translations and they take that final English translation out of context and make it seem to be the whole message, without reflecting on the whole passage and its context.
        That is heresy and at times downright blasphemy.

        Now you have the right message Scottie, morally and ethically you are more Christian than they are.

        Keep on keeping on.

        1. Hi Roger. Thank you very much for the complement. I just feel people are important. I feel most people are human as hope I am. I just treat people the way I really hope they will treat me, and respecting and being interested in their day / welfare / issues is only being human. Or maybe being a good human. Hugs and love.
