Hi taurusingemini. I do not think the tRump administration will succeed in changing the truth / reality of history. Far too many people already remember it and are invested in making sure it survives. They have at most three more years to do this stuff and then it will be changed back. Text books will still have the correct information in them. I would think that there are enough teachers in blue states and even some red states that will not forget the truth and will start teaching it again as soon as the threat of tRump people is gone. tRump is not pushing this on his own. He is being pushed into this by white supremacists and Christian nationalists. They won’t be in charge long after tRump is removed. Even if the republicans in the red states try to keep the erasing of history going they will find a hidden network of people trying to keep the truth alive until history is again taught correctly. Hi Michael. That is the truth. But I don’t see these attempts at history white washing and erasing the contributions of women along with the LGBTQ+. I never understood the need to rewrite history when it is so well documented worldwide that changing one plaque at a monument won’t change the truth about what happened. Plus this constant need to push how great white males were about everything and that the US as a whole only did great wonderful things shows complete insecurity. How fragile are these white alpha males wannabes? Hugs
