Michael Flynn Falsely Claims the Word βCreatorβ Appears in the Constitution Four Times
Michael Flynn, aΒ right-wingΒ conspiracyΒ theoristΒ who served as national security adviser to former President Donald Trump, spoke at aΒ campaign rallyΒ Saturday for MAGA pastorΒ Jackson LahmeyerΒ in Oklahoma, where he falsely claimed that βthe word βCreatorβ is in the Constitution four times.β
Flynn, who was a key player in so-called βStop the Stealβ campaign and continues to travel the country promoting the βBig Lieβ that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Trump, has endorsed Lahmeyer, a fellowΒ right-wingΒ conspiracy theorist, in his bid to unseat Sen. James Lankford in the Republican primary. On Saturday, he used his time at Lahmeyerβs campaign rally to deliver a rambling speech insisting that this nation is locked in βa spiritual warβ against the likes of House Speaker Nancy Pelosiβwho heΒ calledΒ βa demonββand therefore needs elected leaders like Lahmeyer who realize that the rights enshrined in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights come from God.
βDemocracy is always a fragile type,β FlynnΒ said. βYou read the Federalist Papers, you read [the Founderβs] writingsβbecause this is all about the people that weβre talking about tonight running for office, and others that are out thereβyou read all these things, you study the history of this country, you study how it was founded. Thatβs why the word βCreatorβ is in the Constitution four times. βWe are endowed by our Creator.’β
As a matter of fact, the word βCreatorβ appearsΒ zeroΒ times inΒ the Constitution. The phrase βendowed by their Creatorβ actually appears in theΒ Declaration of Independence.
But Flynn wasnβt done.
βWhen you go home, look at the Bill of Rights and lay the Ten Commandments right down next to them,β Flynn continued. βPut them right next to each other, and youβll get a sense of how they developed the Bill of Rights. The rights that the Creator gave us. These are God-given rights; these are not man-given rights.β
βThen you take two other documents, our Constitution and for those who study the Bible, and you look at those two documents because thereβs so much [in common],β Flynn added. βThe Constitution and the Bible, those two documents are the fulfillment of the promises in the Bill of Rights and the Ten Commandments. That is what gives us our ability to be able to be this free, just unbelievable country that we are.β

But petitions were signed by more than 18,500 voters in just 15 days, forcing the Lincoln City Council to put the Fairness Ordinance on the ballot or rescind the law, according to the Nebraska Family Alliance.

And then the right can blame President Biden for the price of oil being too high. We could put our military in Ukraine and hope Putin doesn’t retaliate with nukes. Even if Putin doesn’t the right will be upset when a soldier gets a paper cut.
Despite the attempts to smear Biden, the Democrats have proposed and are trying to enact boycotts and restrictions on Russian oil. Strangely the Republicans have not supported this effort even as the right wing media is demanding it. It is a double edged sword, if Biden does sanction the Russian oil even though the US part of it has already shrunk to very low levels if the price of oil increases the right can blame Biden. If Biden doesn’t act to sanction the Russian oil then the right can accuse Biden of not supporting Ukraine. The right wing loves this as it lets then do what they do best, talk out both sides of their mouth because for them it is not the policy that counts but how to attack Democrats. They are kids wanting to hurt the other. They don’t care about policy or what is best for people. They want the emotional childish game. So let us see how many of the Republicans in congress support sanctions on Russian oil.
This is done by a right wing media cartoonist to try to force the US into a war because of the fact most people care about the hurt of other people. But it is not that simple. Yes Ukrainians are dying. How many more will die if madman Putin who is repeatedly demonstrated he doesn’t care about human life feels backed into a corner and does launch nuclear weapons? How many more will die then. How long will the destruction last then? There are ways to handle this war that are not flashy and does not beat the breast of the wannabe macho men, but it keeps the death toll down.

Not sure why so many white people identify with the slavers rather than the abolitionists. CRT is only a legal theory taught in law schools or advanced degree programs. It is not taught in high schools, and it is not taught in grade schools. That idea is another right wing media misinformation campaign. And Rufo admits it.
The βBiden weakβ trope wore out, so letβs try βHarris incompetent.β Bidenβs day off, attack Harris. Ho, hum. Perhaps the alleged cartoonist should be worried about the Trump Principle: the ability to spectacularly fail upwards while destroying everything around you. Itβs well practiced by most Republicans. She has undertaken several difficult tasks and done β not perfectly: This is politics β but pretty well. However, like the big lie(s) about Hillary promulgated by the reich wingers, I suspect their big lies about Harris will prevail in the end, if only by 55% to 45%.

I am pretty proud there is a round up today.Β I love the roundup and I wake up early.Β Today I got up at 4:30 AM and at 5 AM I started the roundup.Β I got half way through the first 400 pages when I lost the entire thing.Β Β The reason I lost the entire thing was my router.Β We have been having issues, well really Ron was on his electronics for about a month.Β I sort of dismissed it because I couldn’t replicate it when he told me.Β But now the entire router cut out.Β I got one side of the router back up and running.Β After hours. Β Β Took me a lot of resetting and initializing and trying to adjust thing.Β Some parts of the router are still off line.Β Β Once I got the computers / internet up I investigated new routers.Β I was doing this as Ron kept telling me all the issues he has had with his electronic over the last few months that I apparently had not paid the needed husband in charge of the electronics should have done.Β
I have found something I did not know. Routers are now only good for 3 to 5 years.Β Β There is an entirely new standard since 2019.Β Β Our router was about 10 years old.Β Back then I needed a really strong router so I got one nearly $500.00 dollars.Β
I did some quick research and found one far better than our current one for only $165.00 and I ordered it.Β It will be here tomorrow some time.Β Β So the problems of the day solved right?Β Nope.Β I had to go lay down, and Ron has not been feeling well all day and after lunch my body gave out so we both went to bed until about 2 PM.Β Β I started working again and the toilet in the center of the house backed up.Β Β Shit.Β Well no luckily it was not, it was pee.Β Β
Last summer the electric company replaced the pole behind out home.Β Β They had a really grand machine on tracks that could dig the hole and hold / carry the pole and do all the work.Β It was small enough to go between the homes.Β But the sewer pipes run between the homes and apparently this thing crushed them.Β So every now and again we have to dump boiling pots of hot water down the toilets to clear any slow drainage.Β Β Yes the park knows and it is on their to do list.Β We have a nice green flag out there to say so.Β It doesn’t help the toilets to drain.Β
Anyway after 8 big pots of water the toilets are working great again and I could get back to the roundup.Β Β Β I won’t mention thatΒ I did have to go get Ron, who was napping because he did not feel well, after the first four pots because my back gave out, I couldn’t hardly walk much less carry boiling water. Β Ron was not happy I did not wake him before trying to carry boiling water. Β Oh well I am a bad boy rebel.Β Β And on to the cartoons / memes

Ron and I both have teeth issues.Β Β I had such pain in my mouth when I was younger and seen dentists that I went over 30 years without getting any dental care.Β In that time I developed a lot of problems.Β Β Like my bones in my body my teeth were dying and decaying.Β When I went to a dentist about five years ago they had a heck of a fight to save most of my teeth and I have a life long problem now with periodontal disease and even after the surgeon took the bad teeth and cleaned out the infections I still fight infections around my teeth. Β We spent about 10 grand having my teeth fixed and crowns put over the breaking teeth. Β Right now we are trying to budget nearly $500 dollars because I have an infection around one tooth that they have to go in and clean out and pack with antibiotic.Β Β I had that same area done only a year and half ago.Β Β The US has to have dental care for seniors and the disabled.Β It is seriously important.Β I am missing a tooth in the front because I ran out of insurance before I could have the needed dental surgery to implant it.Β It will cost 5 grand.Β This is something other countries consider rights for the people in their country, but the US is too worried about someone losing profit to worry that someone can not eat.Β Β

Turns out that Russia is not as militarily powerful as they have portrayed themselves. Their nukes are the only thing giving the rest of the world pause from acting in force against Russia. It is clear now that Russia can not stand up to NATO. The Russian military sent to Ukraine is full of badly trained conscripts who are ill supplied. There is no fuel for the vehicles, no food for the troops, no command authority it seems. The Ukrainians were letting the Russian kids call home to their mothers because they said their families had no idea where they were. The myth of the great Russian military machine has been shattered.
This is a horrifying assessment of the #RussianInvasion of Ukraine.

After tRump’s limited vocabulary, frequently repeated words, and half finished sentence then starting a tangent with a new subject entirely the right has no leg to stand on criticizing anyone about how they talk. Even with a teleprompter tRump read like a second grader and spoke in a monotone. I would say this is a case where people that live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
When you think of the turn around from the last administrations handling of the Covid pandemic Biden has done great work for the country. 6.2 million jobs have come back, wages up, growth happening, record profits for the corporations and the wealthy. All in less than a year while fighting the misleading right wing media arm of the Republican party.
This is a catch 22 situation.Β If Biden does add more sanctions on Russian oil, the prices of gas in the world may rise, it may violate the contracts already signed, the right wing media arm of the Republicans would go crazy attacking Biden.Β Β However if he doesn’t sanction the Russian oil companies then he gets attacked by everyone.Β Β The fact is the US increased the importation of Russian oil under tRump and it has already decreased greatly under Biden.Β Β The situation has to do with the type of oil and where it can be refined.Β Β Oil and what is done with it is now global, it is not limited to one country.Β That said the Democrats have proposed a bill in congress to sanction all the Russian oil exports.Β Β Lets see if the Republicans join the Democrats on this or just claim the Democrats are against capitalism and want to hurt oil companies.Β
When the government tries to regulate private companies, the Rβs screamβexcept when the Rβs think they have a neat way to criticize the government. Private US companies are buying the Russian oil. Several major private companies have announced they are withdrawing from their arrangements with Russian companies (BP, Shell, Exxon), but that doesnβt fit in or get mentioned by the RW shills promoting this meme, so it gets buried in their propaganda releases.
