Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and her alleged lover Corey Lewandowski ordered 10 Spirit Airlines jets before realizing the planes had no engines.
Officials warned the pair that purchasing the jetsβwhich they said would be used to increase deportations and for their own travelβwas impractical, and that simply hiring additional flight contractors would be far less costly,Β The Wall Street JournalΒ reported

But Noem and Lewandowski went ahead and blew through the funds allocated by Congress. Officials realized the pairβs blunder when they looked deeper into their spending spree and realized that Spiritβwhich has filed for bankruptcy twiceβdidnβt own the planes in the first place, and that the engines would have to be purchased separately, according to the Journal.
Noem and her shopping partner then purchased two Gulfstream jets for $200 million. However, shortly after, DHS notified the Democrats on the House Appropriations Committee that the project to increase deportation flights had been paused.

Lewandowskiβwhose alleged relationship with Noem has been described as D.C.βsΒ βworst-kept secretββhas been referred to as Noemβs βgatekeeper,β operating as a special government employee who travels with her, weighs in on personnel, and shapes enforcement.
He has also spearheaded efforts to replace ICE leaders across the country with Border Patrol veterans to impose a more heavy-handed, military-style approach to Trumpβs immigration crackdown, such as the hostile situation dubbed βMidway Blitz,β unfolding in Chicago.

Led by Border Patrol ChiefΒ Gregory Bovino, the operationβs militarized enforcement tactics and aggressive approaches have sparked public outcry. Footage and testimony have shown federal officers firing pepper-ball rounds and tear gasβeven near childrenβwhile clashing with protesters. ICE agents have also been spotted roaming quiet neighborhoods, questioning landscapers and decorators.
Still, the militant approach hasnβt appeased the White House or met its steep daily deportation quotas.
ICE and Border Protection agents had made 3,000 arrests in Chicago over two months as of late Octoberβthe same number the White House has demanded they make in a single day, theΒ JournalΒ reported.
Noemβs methodsβand the mounting pressure from the White Houseβhave sparked infighting among DHS officials as they grapple with Lewandowskiβs informal authority.

Border czar Tom Homan and ICE DirectorΒ Todd LyonsΒ favor an old-school, less hostile approach, including using police research to develop target lists and focusing on those with criminal histories, sources told the Journal. But while Homan is influential in the White House, Noem has the final say.
Trump, however, is on the side of aggression, saying in aΒ 60 MinutesΒ interview last week that ICE officials βhavenβt gone far enoughβ in Chicago.
The Daily Beast has reached out to DHS and ICE for comment. A spokesperson for DHS denied there were divisions in the department in a statement to the Journal, adding that Trumpβs administration is on pace to βshatter records and deport 600,000 people by the end of Trumpβs first year.β
Noemβs shake-up comes even as a federal judge on Thursday accused Bovino, 55, of lying to her in court as she imposed sweeping limits on a hardline anti-migrant crackdown in Illinois.
Bovino previously claimed he was hit in the head with a rock before he lobbed gas at anti-ICE protesters in Chicagoβa claim he later admitted was false after DHS could not produce evidence to support it.
In an oral ruling, U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis said, βI find the governmentβs evidence to be simply not credible,β after weeks of tear-gassings, pepper-ball strikes, and hard takedowns against journalists, clergy, and residents during βOperation Midway Blitz,β with excessive violence that, she said, βshocks the conscience.β
Personal note:Β Β I got sick and very depressed.Β Was only out of bed for 4 to 6 hours only.Β So much bad happened in a short period of time that I couldn’t deal.Β I plan to do a video someday on it.Β But everything from being on the gurney with iv’s in my hand only to learn they couldn’t do my cataract surgery to the car engine seizing and then the van needing 2 grand in repairs.Β Β That was enough but Ron did not measure the placement of the bathroom project water lines, so things did not fit.Β It all had to be redone and so we changed where things were going.Β Β But just as I started to feel better and had more energy I went to fix a problem on my computers.Β I reset the video one thinking I had the extended updates for a year.Β Β But resetting it wiped that out.Β Β So for the last few days I have learned about Linux systems and tried to install them.Β Β The first one Ubuntu installed but I couldn’t get the line commands to work.Β The second installed and worked but faulted out.Β Every attempt to install one since has failed.Β Β I am wiping and then reactivating the hard drive to see if that will work.Β Β If not I will have to add a new processing chip and or motherboard to the list of things I can’t afford but need.Β Β That is why I have not been around much.Β Β Best wishes to all and hugs to those that want them.Β Β
The video below is about ICE and their illegal detention of people.Β In this one ICE rushes out of their compound to snatch a protestor off the PUBLIC sidewalk and drag him back into their compound to then charge him with trespass.Β It is pure harassment of a member of the public exercising their right to protest peacefully.Β Now he has to find a lawyer and pay for a defense, he was booked with an arrest record now.Β When he did not commit a crime other than insult the NAZI thugs breaking the laws in the US.Β Also another part of the video shows a woman leaving a court stands up to ICE thugs and cusses them out.Β They order her to leave and tell her if she doesn’t leave a public space they will arrest her.Β They threaten to beat her.Β One last point, in that big Chicago building raid they found only one person who may be a gang member but even that is in doubt.Β HugsΒ
