Two guys talking about trans issues and biological sex really means. They address all the science on biology such as sexual orientation, gametes, chromosomes, intersex, and so much more. If you want to learn but not be overwhelmed this is the show to watch. Yes one of the guys has a female avatar. He is not trans, he is entirely a straight cis male who is into poly relationships, but it showcases how just making assumptions can be wrong. Hugs
We are learning that the DOJ had video recordings of the storage area that caused them a lot of concern. We see that these documents are very valuable to a foreign government. Imagine the damage to nation security this information about who is a spy could cause. The fact that trump is this careless with national secrets of the highest level really shows he shouldn’t ever have been president and must never be again. Nor should any of his maga supporters in any elected office at any level. It is well known that trump is in money troubles and that he faces over 600 million dollars of loans coming due this next year. How much would any government give him for the spy information or the nation’s nuclear secrets? Hugs
In pursuing the unprecedented search of Donald Trump’s residence on Monday, the FBI was seeking to retrieve Top Secret and “compartmented” documents dealing with intelligence “sources and methods,” two federal government sources tell Newsweek—documents with the potential to reveal U.S. intelligence sources, including human sources on the American government payroll.
This greatly complicates any public discussion of the documents or any substantiation of Trump’s potential violation of U.S. law. The sources, who were briefed on the investigation, requested anonymity in order to discuss sensitive information.
I read where tRump threatened Garland, saying he was making some of tRump’s friends very angry. Literally mob-like threats. He has all kinds of knowledge that he can use to blackmail the government and keep them from prosecuting him. He is the biggest threat to our democracy in American history.
I know he’s a shit bag and a nasty individual, but this… this level of espionage shocked and saddened me. At this point I don’t know why I’m shocked, but I’m definitely sad…
What’s worse is the 30% of the country defending him… declaring that serial liar Trump has more credibility that the entirety of the US government’s national security and intelligence apparatus.
They rest easy in the comfort of that security while they cheer Trump’s attempts to tear it all down.
This will get real ugly real quick. Most Republicans backed themselves in a corner, and actually do not support treason. But their lip flapping and now the evidence is going to put them in a quandary, and just before the midterms. Which is always a good thing.
Trump possibly could’ve had foreign powers look at those documents or he could’ve transmitted those documents to foreign powers. This is the very definition of treason.
If the Democrats are smart, and they usually are not, this would be the question they would ask their constituents. Is it OK to support a candidate who commits treason? There will always be the few who do. But the majority will not.
At least one lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump signed a written statement in June asserting that all material marked as classified and held in boxes in a storage area at Mr. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence and club had been returned to the government, four people with knowledge of the document said. The written declaration was made after a visit on June 3 to Mar-a-Lago by Jay I. Bratt, the top counterintelligence official in the DOJ’s national security division.
The existence of the signed declaration, which has not previously been reported, is a possible indication that Mr. Trump or his team were not fully forthcoming with federal investigators about the material. And it could help explain why a potential violation of a criminal statute related to obstruction was cited by the department as one basis for seeking the warrant used to carry out the daylong search of the former president’s home on Monday.
NEW: At least one lawyer for Trump signed a written statement for the Justice Department asserting all docs with classified markings in the boxes had been returned after a June 3 meeting, which could explain why "obstruction" statute was listed on warrant https://t.co/JKTTvk2a5H
The Justice Department also saw something on surveillance footage that had been subpoenaed of the storage area that concerned them. It was unclear what period of time the footage was from https://t.co/JKTTvk2a5H
Trump said Friday that he had declassified all the material in his possession while he was still president. He provided no documentation to back the statement https://t.co/JKTTvk2a5H
Ari Melber offered a pretty good summary of how Trump’s defiant bluster in the media quickly turns to meek acceptance once he realizes he’s really in a tough place… to wit, his pathetic pleading the fifth last week.
In that context, this situation will be fun to watch.
Armed maga thugs, trump brownshirts, with the intent to intimidate the ones they are against / hate which in this case is law enforcement. They did this to school board meetings over masks and Covid precautions, they have done this to the drag queen story hours, they have done this to schools / libraries over LGBTQ+ materials. This is what open carry means to them. The power to make others fearful. They are the enforcement arm of the republican party, and the party loves to support them and to aim them at their enemies. Scary and it is going to get worse. Hugs
Signs reading “Honor your oath” and “Abolish FBI” were seen outside the FBI office in Phoenix on Aug. 13, just days after news broke that the agency searched former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. Several of those who were there were armed with guns.
FBI agents seized classified records from Trump’s home during the agency’s unprecedented raid on Aug. 8, including some marked as top secret, according to a warrant and property receipt. Trump disputes the classification, saying the records have been declassified.

I want to point out a few facts that seem to hard for the rabid right maga to understand. Anal sex is not gay. Not all gay people want anal sex. A lot of straight couples practice both female and male anal sex because the anal cavity has a lot of nerves that can be pleasurable stimulated and in fact the male “g” spot is up in the butt. In fact there were reports of teen girls preferring to do anal with their boyfriends as they thought it kept them virgins and reduced the risk of them getting pregnant. The idea against anal sex is a religious one as it is not sex for procreation but for fun. The horror of that idea, sex for fun. These people that are trying to prevent anyone from getting anal sex are also against anyone getting a blow job, because again that is sex for fun. I really wish the US would break away from that damn 1600 Puritan way of thinking about the human body and sex. Hugs
A librarian in Louisiana filed a lawsuit against two men and a conservative organization, alleging they defamed her when they attacked her for supporting the teaching of books involving the LGBTQ community.
Amanda Jones, a middle school librarian and the president of the Louisiana Association of School Librarians, alleged in the lawsuit that a “public campaign” against her started after she spoke out against removing certain books from the Livingston Parish Library system at a board meeting.
The lawsuit also alleges that Ryan Thames, who runs a Facebook page called “Bayou State of Mind,” posted a meme of Jones on or around July 21, showing her smiling and sitting behind a desk and saying that she advocated teaching anal sex to 11-year-olds.
The Twitter account of the above-cited right wing group, Citizens For A New Louisiana, is full of Trump cultist, anti-vax, “stolen election” batshittery.

I keep telling you that these people are first-rate hypocrites. Well, here's your proof. Last week, Citizens for a New Louisiana got called out by the American Library Association for censorship! When we responded, THEY CENSORED IT! What a bunch of agenda-driven political hacks! pic.twitter.com/NS8AS9grdP

The librarians are fighting back.
A middle school librarian in Louisiana filed a defamation lawsuit Wednesday arguing that two men falsely labeled her a pedophile who wants to teach 11-year-olds about anal sex.
And many straights who are. In fact, I’d wager that most of the “sodomy” that’s being “committed” is happening among straights since they represent more than 90% of the population compared to little old us.
We were 12 and 13, I think, when they told us about the “birds and the bees” in our final year of elementary school and first year of junior high. Anal sex, what it was, was among MANY things we were told about. Nothing was “advocated”–we were told what things were, not how to DO them. As for younger children, say 5 to 10 years old, I would imagine that, especially if they ASKED, you’d tell them some men have boyfriends instead of girlfriends, and they can marry and raise a family; and some women have girlfriends instead of boyfriends, and THEY can ALSO marry and raise a family. There’s nothing very complicated about ANY of this, and nothing SINISTER, except when dishonest people PRETEND there is, and the sly media fan the flames for the sake of sensationalism.
The lawsuit also alleges that Ryan Thames, who runs a Facebook page called “Bayou State of Mind,” posted a meme of Jones on or around July 21, showing her smiling and sitting behind a desk and saying that she advocated teaching anal sex to 11-year-olds.
So, in the minds of the cultists, teaching children that LGBT people exist is tantamount to teaching anal sex to children. That’s their “argument.” Good for this librarian for hitting back.
There are steps that must be taken to declassify material and it cannot be done with a standing order, handwaving, or trump bellowing “Mine, my precious”. In fact the president cannot declassify some nuclear secrets. Also remember that trump lost both the clearance a president has and his right to intelligence briefings because Biden said he was erratic. The fact is this is a national security matter. He had these documents that were highly classified improperly stored and he is known to be associating with two foreign government that desperately want those documents, Russia and Saudi Arabia. Some of the documents are so secret thatthe FBI plans to dust them for prints. Hugs
Former President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
Trump’s new explanation for Mar-a-Lago documents is that “everyone ends up having to bring home their work from time to time.”
Trump claimed he had a “standing order” to declassify documents “the moment” they left the Oval Office.
The DOJ is investigating whether Trump broke three laws when he took government records to Mar-a-Lago.
Former President Donald Trump said that everyone takes work home sometimes, as he sought to develop a new line to explain why top secret government documents were stored at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
“As we can all relate to, everyone ends up having to bring home their work from time to time. American presidents are no different,” said the statement from Trump’s office on Friday night read out on Fox News.
Trump further claimed that he had a “standing order” to declassify documents “the moment” they left the Oval Office.
“President Trump, in order to prepare for work the next day, often took documents, including classified documents, from the Oval Office to the residence. He had a standing order that documents removed from the Oval Office and taken into the residence were deemed to be declassified the moment he removed them,” the statement said.
It claimed that the power to classify and declassify documents rests solely with the president and that he did not need approval from a “paper-pushing bureaucrat.”
This new defense – portraying Trump as just another hard-working American – contradicts previous statements by Trump and his lawyers that baselessly claimed the FBI could have planted evidence while on site.
While the president has the authority to declassify documents, legal experts say they must follow a defined procedure. It is not clear if Trump ever did.
“He can’t just wave a wand and say it’s declassified,” Richard Immerman, a historian and an assistant deputy director of national intelligence in the Obama administration, told NBC News. “There has to be a formal process. That’s the only way the system can work.”
Immerman noted that declassified documents are marked with the date they were declassified. It is not the case with some of the documents returned from Mar-a-Lago to the National Archives this year, per NBC.
When reports of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago emerged in May, former Trump administration official Kash Patel claimed that Trump had declassified the files shortly before leaving office but that the classified markings had not been removed.
One of the laws relates to removing information about the US’s national defense, and the other two relate to the concealment or destruction of government records.
The possible crimes being investigated do not depend on the classification of the documents.
“Because the Espionage Act speaks in terms of national defense information, it leaves open the possibility that such information could be unclassified as long as an agency is still taking steps to protect it from disclosure,” Steven Aftergood, who runs the Project on Government Secrecy at the Federation of American Scientists in Washington, told The New York Times.
I think this is the 6th or 7th different spin they’ve tried to give. https://t.co/u5jyPL2UAi
What's so great is that Fox News trots out John Solomon, who conspired with Russian intelligence in the 2020 election, to comment on an espionage case. 😂 https://t.co/aPPWgAEo7X
Wait — didn't @JesseBWatters tell us a few hours ago the FBI planted the documents? Now we're told by MAGA-FOX that yes –Trump stole the documents, but he waved his hand over them and declared "YOU ARE NOW DECLASSIFIED" (even though that's not how documents are declassified)? https://t.co/RF06CJEcN0
Just asked a former senior administration official who would be in a position to know about such a thing and they had absolutely no idea what this report is talking about https://t.co/ucEXaHdblg
I didn’t take any documents Okay, I took documents but they weren’t classified Okay, they were top secret but I declassified them Look over there, Obama took 30 million documents with him!
Please note the deception and hope that some company will sue. The republicans have farmed out their job of governing to the maga people. They want the anti-abortion enforcement done by the maga spying on women, the want maga parents / people objecting to the books they want banned, schools can be sued by the public if a parent doesn’t like something just like the Texas abortion bill. The republicans cannot win on policy, and they cannot win politically on the federal level, so they have to resort be being sneaky assholes. Hugs
House Republicans are planning to try to open up Democrats’ $740 billion tax, climate and health care bill to a legal challenge after it passes, Axios has learned. The move is Republicans’ way of showing their base that they’re going to great lengths to kill the legislation, which is likely to be unanimously opposed by House Republicans.
Republicans, led by members of the right-wing House Freedom Caucus, plan to get “as many members as possible to vote by proxy” in order to deny Democrats a physical quorum. The bill would still pass, but Republicans hope a company affected by the tax provisions in the bill will then sue to challenge the law’s constitutionality.
Scoop: Republicans plan to vote by proxy en masse today in the hopes of denying Democrats a physical quorum and opening up the Inflation Reduction Act to a legal challenge, per two senior GOP aides.@axioshttps://t.co/3CWZuOQYq7
As I recall, the proxy thing was already challenged in court once before and bounced immediately because the ruling was, “The Congress of the United States is free to set its own operating rules.”
They’re upset they lost on this one. They can’t let it go. That is ALL they care about—obstructing anything the Democratic Party does, good or bad. (And generally good.)
Much like American Rescue Plan (ARP) this is a good thing for the Rethugs constituents. A reasonable intelligent person would have voted for IRA, but thats not how Rethugs roll .
One hopes – that the lame ass DNC is ready to run counter programming against each and every single one of these Rethugs in their districts.
I go to my local Rethug’s “town halls” and pepper it with questions about ARP.. but its TaliBama … so its like asking questions to a wall.
It’s even more important to block the GOOD bills, to ensure that Democrats can’t take credit for any accomplishment and–gods forbid–become popular by actually serving the public.
Which is odd, because when good legislation does pass, Republicans still claim credit for it, even though they worked against it and voted against it. I hate Republicans!
The Texas comptroller said the state has opened an investigation into a Dallas bar that held a drag show for children earlier this summer.
In a statement released Friday, Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar identified himself as one of many Texas parents who found themselves “disturbed by the recent images showing children participating in a drag show in the Dallas area, including one of a child placing money in a performer’s undergarment.”
Hegar’s announcement came one day after Republican state Rep. Bryan Slaton [photo] called on Hegar to treat Mr. Misster as a “sexually-oriented business.” As Slaton explained, “Sexually-oriented businesses are required to pay $5 per attendee present and they must also prevent children and sex offenders from attending or participating.”
Slaton, who is fond of making public appearances carrying an assault weapon and wearing a belt of ammunition, first appeared on JMG in March 2021 when he introduced a bill making abortion a death penalty crime for doctors and even women who undergo the procedure.
Earlier this year he introduced a bill requiring genital exams for trans athletes in public schools.
As I reported in June, extremists mobbed and attempted to enter Mr. Misster during the show, hurling abuse at children and parents.
The State of Texas is evaluating the tax status of a Dallas bar that hosted a “Drag the Kids to Pride” event in June. If determined to be a “sexually oriented business” after hosting the event, the bar would owe $5 per entrant under state law. https://t.co/08Qf19n0Hk
As usual the backward asses wants to make something funny as something stupid. And there are people out there who has no idea of the entertainment that Drag shows give. Just another way for the right wing assholes to turn communities against us.
They use that falsehood to Ban Books and teaching TRUTH inSCHOOLS. So, if a parent wants to take their kids to a Drag Show, do they NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to DO SO???
Right. First they get drag queen story time canceled, then all drag shows, then they’ll work on getting all gay bars closed (a child might walk past one!) and all LGBTQ content expunged from TV, movies, and the Internet. Think of the chilllldrennnnnn!
There is no appeasing them. Their concerns are disingenuous, and if they are allowed to shift the Overton Window, they’ll just keep pushing until they are allowed to criminalize and/or kill us again.
If we really want to appease them, we all need to stop existing ASAP. Because our existence is what triggers those delicate snowflakes’ feeeeeelings more than anything.
Just hours after a list began circulating among right-wing media of FBI agents who signed off on the search warrant for Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property, a former Trump aide tried to sic MAGA fans on the family members of the purported agents.
Garrett Ziegler, who recently went on a sexist tear against former White House colleagues, took to Telegram to post the personal information of men he identified as agents.
The former Trump administration staffer further listed out the FBI agents’ date of birth, work emails and linked to alleged family members’ social media accounts. “We have to have faces,” he said. “There are people ruining America, and they have names, and emails, and addresses.”
Far right, Christian White Nationalist, Garrett Ziegler, complains about his post being taken down from Truth Social after he doxxes @FBI agents (including family details) that purportedly executed the search warrant at Mar-a-Lago.
Commentators soon took to Twitter to accuse Breitbart, an outlet previously managed by former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, of doxxing—the practice of identifying a person or releasing personal information about them, often with the aim of enabling targeted harassment. Some also accused Trump of leaking the warrant to Breitbart in hopes of targeting the agents.
Some folks are going to learn the hard way the perils of declaring war on the FBI. When they act like thugs and declare war on FBI families, it’s not going to having the intimidating effect these MAGA Brownshirts are counting on.
“I’m sure he’s loaded to the hilt. Do you know who his wife is? Lauren Boebert. She’s loaded. They all have guns,” one neighbor told 911 dispatchers.
In this Sept. 16, 2021, file photo U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colorado, right, speaks during a Second Amendment Rally at a gun store in Midland, Texas. Colorado state Sen. (Eli Hartman/Odessa American via AP, File)
Garfield County Sheriff’s deputies decided to let neighbors of U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert settle a dispute between themselves and the congresswoman’s husband after he reportedly threatened them and destroyed their mailbox.
But 911 calls from the incident, obtained by The Denver Post, show just how upset and nervous the neighbors were over their run-in with Boebert’s husband, Jayson Boebert.
The calls also provide additional context into what the neighbors, in Silt, said amounted to excessive speeding, property damage, possible drunken driving and threats made from a man whose family openly and regularly carries their firearms.
“I’m sure he’s loaded to the hilt. Do you know who his wife is? Lauren Boebert. She’s loaded. They all have guns,” one neighbor told a 911 dispatcher. “He just got chest to chest, face to face, looking to fight.”
That additional context from the calls appears to match the limited information available in reports from Garfield County deputies. But still, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Walter Stowe refused to say why deputies didn’t investigate further and would not provide any additional information.
WARNING: This audio contains graphic language and has been edited to remove identifiable information of the callers such as names and addresses.
The apparent inaction drove the head of American Muckrakers — a political group looking to oust Boebert — to ask Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, the local district attorney and the Colorado Bureau of Investigations to investigate the relationship between the congresswoman’s family and the Sheriff’s Office.
“This was clearly a serious situation as there were two 911 calls, five deputies and at least four families involved,” David Wheeler, head of American Muckrakers, wrote in an email asking for the investigation.
The incident began in the evening hours of Aug. 4, after a neighbor flagged down one of Boebert’s sons asking him to stop speeding up and down their street in a dune buggy, according to the calls and a short incident report filed by deputies.
“He’s going like 50 miles an hour and this is a residential lane, there’s kids,” one neighbor, told 911 dispatchers, according to the audio. “We tried to stop him and he’d just freakin’ cuss at us and just left.”
That neighbor could not immediately be reached for comment, but she was so flustered that she had a difficult time recalling her own phone number when asked by the dispatcher.
“It’s the Boeberts, if you know who the Boeberts are,” she said. “I need the sheriff out here.”
“Our wonderful congresswoman,” someone else said in the background.
By the time the second neighbor called 911, deputies hadn’t yet arrived. During that call, Jayson Boebert reportedly began to run the second neighbor’s mailbox over in a truck.
“There’s about to be some s— going down here,” the second neighbor told dispatchers. “It’s Lauren Boebert’s jackass husband, Jayson Boebert.”
During the call the second neighbor can be heard yelling at Jayson Boebert.
“Stop, you jackass! Get the f— out of here,” he yelled. “Come on, man. What are you doing? What did we do wrong?”
Jayson Boebert did not respond to a message seeking comment, nor did the second neighbor. However, over the phone, the second neighbor told the 911 dispatcher that Jayson Boebert had driven to their house with his son “trying to claim that someone took a swing at his kid and nobody did.”
He calls Jayson Boebert “dumb as a post” and “irrational,” then expresses concern about the being threatened and more.
“Jayson’s probably drunk. You could probably get him for a DUI, he just drove down here,” he said.
Eventually deputies arrived and Sheriff Lou Vallario previously told The Post that everybody had “agreed to work it out as neighbors. No charges. No further action.”
Confronted about the additional context provided by the 911 calls, Stowe on Friday would not, however, say whether deputies declined to investigate further.
Lawrence Pacheco, a spokesman for Attorney General Phil Weiser, confirmed the office had received Wheeler’s request to investigate Wheeler’s message. Representatives from the Colorado Bureau of Investigations and 9th Judicial District Attorney Jefferson Cheney’s office did not immediately reply to requests for comment.
This riding dirt bikes, etc. thru neighborhoods, violating noise, speed, and licensing laws has become the antigovernment thing to do for a certain type.
They move into an area for safety from the other and become the nightmare they think they left behind.
Talk about nightmare neighbors. If the neighbor wanted to move, they’d probably have trouble selling their home because who would want to live next to this entitled white trash.
It is an entirely different Reality. We receive a message on line from a neighbor who clearly despises us and she doesn’t even know us. The Pecking order that many live by was established decades earlier when they all roamed the Halls of the local High School. Ground Hog Day on a loop.
Yes. I think that there’s a kind of establishment fatigue, too. Given how badly our schools have declined, the idea of what the electorate finds “relatable” has gotten really low.
When we as a culture keep pressing the snooze button each time we get a wake up call, this is where we are. When you have millions willfully resisting a vax to protect the collective, your answer is in that mess. Just make sure all your recording devices are fully charged when you leave your home.
Drunkenly gets into a fight over destroying a mailbox.. while packing heat.. why yes, I’m sure that’s exactly what the Founding Fathers intended when they wrote the 2nd Amendment, with no care to things like “well regulated” or anything silly like that.
