The Right seems to be losing more and more touch with how things work and not the way they would wish them to work.
It’s happened before with extremist administrations, they loose their grip on the helm and the current takes over.
And the ship of state runs into the Reef of Circumstance.
Reef always wins

It is unfortunate that the Right knows precisely how they’ve managed to make things work, and are working them to the hilt to get their objectives set into law. This is what happens when people disengage with their governments. Things are farther along than many think things are, and it could be surprising how difficult it will be to right the ship, or even who is really the reef. The right has been working on this for decades; they only needed a trifecta majority and a willing puppet in the White House. It’s why they’re working so quickly now, and not worrying about hiding or lying about their work.
I have concern that it may be too late to stop this; it may be too late to do anything but ride it out. Which will be detrimental to so many people.

The Right are fools then Ali. It is not going to work for them.
We only have to look around the net and witness the determination, anger, fury and hate their toxicity is causing to grow against them.
This is the part that I fear.
1% of the those who voted against Trump feel violence might be justified (700,000)
And 1% of the 1% decide it is the only option for them to take up (7,000). It’s enough to start a fire, which the current Right will be gleeful about because like all who instigate the conflict they think they will be control.
The Right might delude themselves into thinking they can handle that. All governments think they can they supress it. History is littered with their errors of judgement.
Take care you guys and work through the Civil / Civic systems no matter how hard it may be. The alternatives will lead to no true winners.

Absolutely agreed.
It isn’t so much, though, the anti-Trump people who feel violence could be acceptable, but those on the right making advances who will use violence, sometimes as a first rather than last resort against opposition. The fires are already burning here. Those of us who work by love and light need a GPS to get around and work without being burned.
I understand they will not last. But they will last longer if people-all the people-do not engage. And that’s the trouble, motivating people to engage.
sigh You are more motivating to people right now than I am, Roger. I’m tired, and I’ll be still about it. Maybe we can push this back sooner, rather than rebuilding later.
If it’s later, I hope our “Marshall Plan” comes from people like you! 🙂

I can understand you fatigue Ali. Having to deal with living with an Administration and supporter base that is aggressively against you is harsh. We had experienced it on a lower level in the Thatcher era.
Rest up for a while and take care.
