   1. Hi Jeff. Oh I agree. My only question was he always a POS just pretending to be a progressive as he ran on, or was it his stroke that caused him to shift so far to the right after being elected? That makes a difference in my mind. Not that he should stay in office, I feel he should resign. In fact his staff has leaked how dangerous his behavior has become with being extremely dangerous when driving to not knowing what was happening on the subjects he was voting on. But his recent total support for Israel completely denying that that is real has done anything wrong and claiming that any talk of Israel committing genocide is complete fabrications and antisemitism. 2. Saw him on a late night show interview, maybe Colbert?

   Anyway, he was using some machine that translated speech to text for him. Serious damage has occurred for him to need this.

   Also it put me in mind of the second (or third?) Oz book, Pumpkinhead, I think, with a scene in which a visitor was communicating with a local mayor with the help of a translator. The joke was that they were both speaking the same language and the translator was pretending to translate because they asked him to. He would twist what each was saying to the other and they almost went to war before they figured it out. I might have gotten some details wrong; I read this almost 60 years ago.

   And how do they keep Grok out of that thing? It could be telling him anything.

   Reports do say that wouldn’t matter anyway, though. He’s changed. I bet he doesn’t even realize this.
