Hi Ali. Thank you. I am so glad you posted on her. I used to watch Mark and Trae but sadly for a while all I have been able to catch is his short clips from his jeep. I am stunned at the money in the race as different groups are desperate to keep or gain power to further their causes. I am listening to her talk about how they gerrymandered the district. I love how the winning democratic candidates are all doing a heavy ground game that republicans are ignoring. I like her views and takes on the issues. I like she cares about the people both in her campaign and outside of it. I really like her youth and energy. As she says the state has representative that do nothing while drawing in large amounts off wealth and perks then leave office. I have often said too many people who run for office in both national parties see the elected positions as a golden ticket to personal wealth and power. The more the democrats make the republicans fight for these deep red districts the better we are in other races.
I wrote Ali and explained this morning why I am not posting or replying to comments. Things went south / problematic here. The bathroom remodel project hit three huge issues requiring restarting far back in the job including last week before Thanksgivings. The floor was down, the tile on the toilet side and under the shower done, the shower placed, and the drain locked in. All that needed doing was placing the water valve in place and connecting the water lines. Then Ron dropped a needed part down the open drain line. He was already discouraged and it was all I could do to keep him going. I want to make a video of our illness and the incredible fatigue that took over for nearly a month. I was averaging about 6 hours a day out of bed. Right now Ron needs as much time and support to get as much done as possible because he flies out the morning of the Dec 6th to help his sister in Texas and bring her back here to our torn up home. So I have had to take over as much of the daily house running as I possibly can with my own health issues. But doing all this has taken a toll on me. It also requires I take a lot more pain medications. To help me with the added pain and to be able to fight the fatigue the doctor put me back on regular steroid injections. That is giving me the ability to do nearly a 12 hour day. But with the house stuff to keep Ron going on the project I am getting very little time on the computer to type, post, or reply to comments. Today I had some spare time because Ron has the water shut off while the pipe connections dry solid. I hope this is read by as many as possible because I do feel bad about not being on the blog, but I can’t. Sorry. Hugs
