I love the Daily Beans news podcast with Alison Gill. I listen to the show on my phone while doing my morning shower routine. The show is full of news and some times really interesting interviews. Like the one I will cue up. ICE has been taking kids from their parents and then calling them “unacompanied minors” so that they are easier to deport. Remember these kids are not given lawyers or assistance during their hearings and I posted how a 2 year old baby had to go through her deportation hearing with no one to assist her. It has become a farce and as Alison says a genocide to wipe out all brown and black people possible, including the kids before they can become citizens with more rights or have children who are citizens. Horrific what the country has become under white supremacist Stephen Miller and clue less bigoted racist tRump. Hugs
Today, Kimberly Guilfoyle is out, according to the new White House press secretary who stumbled embarrassingly through her first appearance at the podium; the Supreme Court will take up a case to decide whether DOGE is subject to the Freedom of Information Act; DHS is separating migrant children from their parents then labeling them unaccompanied minors; Judge Reyes has extended her order blocking Trump from making any changes to the D.C. municipal Golf Course; the Talarico campaign actually provided timestamped video surveillance tapes to the New York Times to prove that he was never in Ohio; Anthropic says AI could replicate itself in home devices within months; a judge blasts Elon Musk for lying about a FEMA employee paying for luxury hotel rooms for migrants in New York City; plus Allison and Dana deliver your Good News.
The entire show. Below is just the interview.
