Godzilla Defends Its Recent Attacks on Cities

The radical urbanist media loves to throw around baseless accusations like “rampage.” “Godzilla rampages,” “cities destroyed in rampage,” and “world in the grip of rampagism.” The word has lost all meaning by this point. And it’s not even fair because the lawful, beautiful actions that I undertook around the globe against the likes of Tokyo or New York were anything but a rampage. It was a precise enforcement of the law meant to keep everyone safe.
I have nothing against cities. There are plenty of good, honest cities out there just trying to get on with their lives. I’ve known some really great cities in my time. But when a city shows up without papers, without proper authorization, just popping up out of the blue instead of doing things legally, the right way, I have no choice but to act swiftly and decisively. These are really bad ciudades we’re dealing with here. You see an innocent skyline; I see a potential security threat. Those towers can be signaling enemy kaiju. Those electric lights may be sending signals into space meant for alien invaders. You don’t know. I’m not willing to take that risk.
Critics always focus on the wrong things and don’t give you the full story, like how I “leveled all of Sydney.” Yes, I did. What you won’t hear is how the city was defiantly inviting lethal threats like a moth the size of a jumbo jet and a giant Marxist lobster (you can tell by its red color) by just existing out there in the open. If destroying the city is what it takes to protect my domain from future attacks and the disastrous open-border policy of my weak-on-crime predecessor, then you better believe that that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
Because let’s not forget that, as King of the Monsters, all the oceans are within my jurisdiction, INCLUDING up to fifty miles inland from any shore. I have the right to stomp any downtown into dust, and it’s all legal. It’s not trespassing, it’s not chaos, and it’s definitely not a “rampage.” It’s affirming my sovereignty in the interest of national security to protect law-abiding cities. If you’re here legally, have all the proper paperwork, and have never harbored a three-headed alien dragon, your skyscrapers have nothing to worry about. (snip-a bit MORE)

Are My Words Even Necessary?
My Last Days in Reality
I’m not sure how to begin this tale. It seems like a fruitless endeavor, a constant push that yields little result but loss. I’ve watched the company I came to as an opportunity for a new start some five years ago slowly dwindle through decreasing ups and increasing downs to the point that I find myself frustrated with an inability to keep up with the disappointments.
These images I use are meant to be hyperbolic, nonetheless, they do well to express this lament, my own and others in this country, that I’m losing the fight.
The past weeks have seen our shop lose half of our workers due to layoffs, and more to leaving the fight to better opportunities elsewhere even as I am also dealing with reduced pay.
I thought I would learn so much at this job, and I have – though not quite the way I’d hoped, and not the things I’d hoped. And, now… Now I find that I am faced with a decision to fight the good fight and do what I can to save this floundering vessel, or am I committing slow suicide riding a sinking ship.
I am faced with the question of who is owed my loyalty? When the stone reaches the tipping point, do I push harder or do I get out of the impact zone? Our jobs are more than a way to put beans on the table; it is our identity, our productivity, our impetus to face the day and the very slings and arrows of life. I’ve sacrificed blood, sweat, tears, agility, health and a great deal of my sanity. Now I wonder if I’m too old, too broken down and jaded to begin anew.
These are the thoughts that have ravaged my spirit these past weeks. Some days reality sucks, the sky is dark and storms rage, but does that define my life or does it just describe my moment?
So, now, here I sit. A generally frugal nature and a number of blessings in my life has allowed me to realize some things: I’m not going to starve, I’m not going to be homeless, I’m just going to have a bit more time. The horror of being forced to deal with many of the things I just didn’t have the time or energy for earlier!!! So, no, I’m not worried for me. And, if I am so fortunate to ride out this storm I will be better for the opportunity to care for the things I’ve allowed to wallow in neglect. But, I very much do worry for those who will truly suffer under our Dear Leader.

A group of Epstein abuse survivors held a press conference on Capitol Hill yesterday, calling for the release of all the documents related to the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. Donald Trump replied to this, calling it a “Democrat hoax,” which was weird since his name didn’t even come up, other than pleas to help release the files. So, what exactly is the “hoax” he’s speaking of?
This is like a case where someone ran a bus full of nuns off a cliff, and then a friend says to you, “Hey, did you hear about that bus full of…” And you interrupt, shouting, “I didn’t do it! Those nuns are lying!”

Bipartisan lawmakers and Survivors of Epstein’s abuse gathered on the steps of the Capitol to demand that Congress vote to release all the files related to the investigation. These are files that Speaker Mike Johnson, who told his colleagues to ignore the petition, does not want released. Today on GoComics, one of the trolls said that the Epstein Files won’t implicate Trump. If that’s the case, then Trump should release them.
This is weird because MAGAts are either demanding the release of the files or helping Trump with the cover-up. Is that what Watergate was like, with Republicans stating that nobody needs to hear the missing 18 minutes?
I’ve never said the Epstein Files would implicate Trump, but I’m all for pressuring the regime to release them. There’s a reason why the regime won’t release them. What is that reason? (snip-MORE, and it’s excellent)

Describing the city as the “murder capital of the world, Donald Trump said yesterday that he’s going to send the National Guard into Chicago, saying, “We’re going in.” Actually, Memphis is the “murder capital” of the United States, but it’s in Tennessee, which is a red state. These are all photo-ops, you know.
Trump reversed course today while entertaining Poland’s new president, who, like Putin, got a military flyover. A lot of DC residents didn’t appreciate the flyover, as those things tend to be loud, and they shake things off shelves, like cats do.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to the District, and I’ve never gotten a military flyover.
Trump said that now he’d like for the military to be invited by governors before he sends the military into their cities for photo-ops, like he did with DC.
Trump said, “We are making a determination now. Do we go to Chicago? Or do we go to a place like New Orleans where we have a great governor, Jeff Landry, who wants us to come in and straighten out a very nice section of this country that has become quite – quite tough, quite bad?” Make up your mind, Trump. Is it nice or is it bad?
Someone must have told Trump that it’s illegal to send the military into cities without formal requests by governors. DC is a different situation as it is under the exclusive constitutional authority of Congress, which has the power to directly intervene in local governance. This arrangement is due to the city’s status as a federal district, not a state, and gives DC residents limited self-government and no voting representation in Congress. The citizens of Washington, DC have taxation without representation.
But other cities are different, and a judge just ruled that Trump broke the law when he sent Marines into Los Angeles to break up anti-ICE protests. Trump can probably expect the same verdict if he invades Chicago, which the city will reject. (snip-MORE)
