And yet he is the most hated man in the world according to the MAGA cult

I want to thank Ten Bears for the link to the song. https://homelessonthehighdesert.com/2026/01/16/freys-day-four-twenty-forget-me-not/ But I did not repost his post of it as I should have because I struggle to understand the words despite repeated listening to it. So this morning I looked up the lyrics. I like the song and the lyrics ring true to me. I will post both. Lyrics first. Hugs
[Verse 2]
They say the prisoner at Spandau was a symbol of defeat
Whilst Hess remained imprisoned and the fascists, they were beat
So the promise of an Aryan world would never materialize
[Chorus]
So why did they all come out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died?
[Verse 3]
The world is riddled with maggots; the maggots are getting fat
They’re making a tasty meal of all the bosses and bureaucrats
They’re taking over the boardrooms, and they’re fat and full of pride
[Chorus]
And they all came out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died
[Verse 4]
So if you meet with these historians, I’ll tell you what to say
Tell them that the Nazis never really went away
They’re out there burning houses down and peddling racist lies
I know many of the viewers on my site also go to Mock Paper Scissors. But for the few who may not this is a grand site full of news and entertainment. In the above post TG points out more lying about what ICE gang thugs faced when they illegally shot someone. The gaslighting of the DHS is so over the top nothing they say can ever be believed. In this case the gang thugs shot through a closed door in anger not caring who they might hit. These white supremacist militia gang thugs seem to have real anger issues and love that they can disregard every precept of civil treatment of others as they prowl in gangs looking for prey. Like all bullies one on one or more they are not so brave, but they travel in packs like hyenas. Hugs
First thank you to everyone who donated to Kamyk’s go fund me. He had to start it out at the minimum of $300 due to the rules of the site. The real goal is $1,000 which will allow him to get the game, a secure pack for storing it, and a little left over for a set of earbuds and a few games. Currently he has to have it set for $600 because the rules say he has to set it up in stages. I don’t understand it but he sent me the goals and I put it on the page. The current amount donated is $315. Again thanks to everyone for helping if you can. I understand if you can’t. I can’t until next week when Ron gets paid. This last week we had to put the groceries and medications on the credit card.
Which leads me to the second update I want to share. After I got home from my visit with Suzy Sunshine in which we both decided she couldn’t help me, Ron got a call from his sister. She had fallen and broke her wrist a few days ago. I guess it was bad. So Friday around noon she called and was very upset. Ron said he never saw her this way before. She told him she couldn’t handle the situation of trying to show the home and everything along with the pain in her wrist that she couldn’t use for anything. She wanted him to come to Texas and be with her. It would be for at least a month maybe more and then she would be coming back to Florida in March anyway. In two weeks she will have surgery on the wrist and will need the extra help anyway.
Ron looked at me and I knew what he wanted to ask so I told him it was OK. I understood the bond between him and his sister. I understand he needs to help her in her time of need. I was in a good place, I have the van and it is running well, and we already did the large grocery shopping. I would be OK for a month and half if he needed. So he spent yesterday afternoon packing and left in the car early this morning for Texas. It is about 1,000 miles to where his sister lives. He is going to do it in two days. The good thing is it should give me lots of time to do all the blogging stuff. Hugs

Apollo 14: A View from Antares
Image Credit: Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14, NASA; Mosaic – Eric M. Jones
Explanation: Apollo 14’s Lunar Module Antares landed on the Moon on February 5, 1971. Toward the end of the stay astronaut Ed Mitchell snapped a series of photos of the lunar surface while looking out a window, assembled into this detailed mosaic by Apollo Lunar Surface Journal editor Eric Jones. The view looks across the Fra Mauro highlands to the northwest of the landing site after the Apollo 14 astronauts had completed their second and final walk on the Moon. Prominent in the foreground is their Modular Equipment Transporter, a two-wheeled, rickshaw-like device used to carry tools and samples. Near the horizon at top center is a 1.5 meter wide boulder dubbed Turtle rock. In the shallow crater below Turtle rock is the long white handle of a sampling instrument, thrown there javelin-style by Mitchell. Mitchell’s fellow moonwalker and first American in space, Alan Shepard, also used a makeshift six iron to hit two golf balls. One of Shepard’s golf balls is just visible as a white spot below Mitchell’s javelin.

The video below shows another shooting where the ICE thug fired into a car striking a person when he shifted his weapon to his other hand. The car was not moving and full of pepper spray. The man was not trying to drive. Yet ICE told a judge the man had weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run over ICE thugs. The judge dismissed the case because ICE refused to hand over the body cam footage that showed what the ICE thug did and that DHS was lying. Again. Suzy Sunshine and I met today and we mutually agreed that she couldn’t help me. She started off the session on grounding technics, and when she told me what they were I led her through each sense and how I try to stop the vortex from taking me and the steps involved, I described every step involved she stopped and looked sad. I asked her what was wrong and she said you knew all this before I could tell you. I said I have been dealing with these memories, emotions, and the cascading tornado of the vortex along with the emotional roller coaster of what happens for most of my life. I have learned to image and use the positive things in my life as handles to keep the tornado black vortex from drawing me in to it. In the last decade or more I have had to seriously draw on them to stay sane. No one taught me these things, I found them on my own because I was in such distress. At that point she told me I had passed the point where anything she could offer me would help. We left it I would work on it more myself and if I started to get in a bad place like I was in November and December I would call her and she would get me in with a trauma therapist. We parted on good terms with her saying as I put my heavy over shirt on because it is really cold here in Florida, “I am sorry I wanted to help, but what you are dealing with is way beyond anything I was trained for or ready for”. I thanked her and explained what I am dealing with most people can’t understand … but all I need is their caring support and honest concern for my wellbeing, something I never got as a child. I think what broke her was when she asked about smells could I think of a positive smell that might pull me from a trigger. I explained to her that all smells are relative and for example Ron might be cooking hamburgers and french fries and it might make me happy. Or it could remind me of when as a child the rest got to sit at the table eating hamburgers and French fries while I was made to stand across the room and watch. I saw her start to close down and she stuttered as she said yes I can see how that may be triggering. Anyway a song for the attempt at therapy. Oh if no one noticed I updated the Kamyk post, please read the new part at the end. Hugs

U.S. President Donald Trump has turned Greenland into a geopolitical hotspot with his demands to own it (Note: there is a video of this report on the page, if you prefer; click the title just above -A)

In their words: Greenlanders talk about Trump’s desire to own their Arctic island
(Snippet:)
NUUK, Greenland — U.S. President Donald Trump has turned the Arctic island of Greenland into a geopolitical hotspot with his demands to own it and suggestions that the U.S. could take it by force.
The island is a semiautonomous region of Denmark, and Denmark’s foreign minister said Wednesday after a meeting at the White House that a “fundamental disagreement” remains with Trump over the island.
The crisis is dominating the lives of Greenlanders and “people are not sleeping, children are afraid, and it just fills everything these days. And we can’t really understand it,” Naaja Nathanielsen, a Greenlandic minister said at a meeting with lawmakers in Britain’s Parliament this week.
Here’s a look at what Greenlanders think:
Trump has dismissed Denmark’s defenses in Greenland, suggesting it’s “two dog sleds.”
By saying that, Trump is “undermining us as a people,” Mari Laursen told AP. (snip-MORE)

(It’s like another world inside my state, which is sorta nice. -A)
TOPEKA — Union leader Jake Lowen told the hundreds of workers who gathered Wednesday in the first floor rotunda of the Statehouse to look around and take in “the house that labor built.”
He referenced the stonemasons who cut every piece of limestone in the walls. The iron and steel workers who raised the dome, with the help of operating engineers who ran the hoists built by machinists. Plumbers, boilermakers and electricians brought light, heat and water.
Lowen, the executive secretary-treasurer of the Kansas State AFL-CIO, said some of the workers who started building the Statehouse, which took 37 years to construct, never saw it finished. At least seven gave their lives in the process, he said.
“The work was hard and the price was high, and yet they persevered,” he told the crowd that was gathered for an annual “solidarity day” labor rally.
He said the workers were building a Statehouse by day and a movement by night. In 1890, the year they raised the Statehouse dome, workers formed the Kansas State Federation of Labor, he said. (snip-MORE)

After today’s post, Seth Larson let me know that the Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison, has established a portal for sending in evidence of ICE activity.
I’ve updated the web version of the post, but I wanted to send out an email update too so that readers on the ground in the Twin Cities are aware of the resource.
I’ll republish Governor Walz’s quote for emphasis:
“Tonight, I want to share another way you can help: Witness.
Help us establish a record of exactly what’s happening in our communities.
You have an absolute right to peacefully film ICE agents as they conduct their activities.
So carry your phone with you at all times.
And if you see ICE in your neighborhood, take out that phone and hit record.
Help us create a database of the atrocities against Minnesotans – not just to establish a record for posterity, but to bank evidence for future prosecution.”
If you are local to the Twin Cities, and feel safe and able, this is a concrete way in which you can help.
Here’s that link to the submission form again.
